Pros: - Nothing to install manually. Windows XP recognizes it right away- Very lightweight- Inexpensive- Easy to use
Cons: - Cord may be too short if you want to plug it into the back of your computer. Not a problem if you use a laptop or plug it into a usb port in front of your computer.
Other Thoughts: - Great for playing classic NES or SNES games!! Can't find something at this price elsewhere.- Buttons don't work as well at first but play for awhile and they get a lot easier to press. Didn't put this is con because it's not really a con... New things need to be used before they get adjusted to your needs.
Bottomline: Great item for the casual gamer but may not be for you if you're an ultimate gamer. Buy more than one so that someone else can play with you.
Pros: - Surprisingly good build quality- CHEAP!!!- Easy to use
Cons: - A bit too short cord (~1,1 m), but it can be extended with extension USB cable
Other Thoughts: - My Ubuntu 7.10 Linux (32-bit) system recognized the controller automatically (worked in the GFCE Ultra NES Emulator), so this works also in some Linux systems.
Bottomline: Definitely worth buying. If you don't use it, buy it for reselling! It costs less than a kebab :)
Pros: Works well in Windows XP, no drivers required.Very good with emulation software etc.Light weight.
Cons: Cord is short, could be at least 1/2 a metre longer.
Other Thoughts: Seems to work without any issues, I bought 2 and both worked fine.
Bottomline: Cheap but good.
