Pros: You can use it as an ebook reader and with this price it is very cheap the most ebook readers are about 300 dollars here in the Netherlands.
You can also use it to brows the internet, watch youtube, check email and listen to mp3's this is all very doable and practicle
Cons: I had to put a lott of time into it because some things dont work out of the box, I had to install a new firmware 1.9 from Eken and install 2 extra app's too get Youtube working.
The provided app for mp3's did not work as I wanted it too so I installed Meridian and this is a very good app for it.
I also had to install a taskkiller otherwise you have to reboot when the memory is full!
You can find very much info on Slatedroid how to get this thing runnning with numerous firmware's and there are a lott of tips on this website.
Other Thoughts: If you want to get a cheap e-reader buy it otherwise wait for the next generation Android tablets too come with Android 2.2 and a better CPU so it can run faster and better!
You may have to pay some more money but that is really worth the extra penny's
Bottomline: I already wrote it but if you dont want to spend al lot of money for an e-reader buy this! It is unbeatable for this price, you have to install a new firmware and you can download it from Slatedroid.
Incredible gadget for the price.

Pros: It is a little remarkable.
With the right programs, you can listen to online radio, talk on MSN and surf the Internet all at the same time and the best: lying on the couch.
Can run Android (comes with it) WinCE 6 and Debian (slatedroid.com for more information.)
The screen is resistive, but responds well to use. The output of headphones has a good level of audio.
It is well designed and constructed.
It is very flexible in terms of comprehensive software, has many killer apps.
The Android SO it´s very mature and solid, never has crashed in use (and I use this alot).
Cons: Heats a lot, maybe a lack of passive cooling.
Its processor is slow for the job, so you have to choose the right programs.
The battery is weak, up to 3 hrs at maximum (with WIFI on and the last updated Firmware).
After the unit become hot, the screen calibration gets crazy.
Have little memory, I don't thing that more 128Mb of RAM will impact much in price.
Other Thoughts: Have a very active comunity at slatedroid.com. Check for more info.
Bottomline: I have buy two, and for sure will buy more. All my friend gets crazy with this.

Pros: -Great price.
-Nice quality.
-Sensitive screen.
-I wanted this to use internet, so I use opera and dolphin browser.
-You can watch you tube ,if you have the aplication and if you change the firmware to a a new one , I used a lot slatedroid formun for that, was pretty easy to change the firmware.
-You can use the android market, it doesn't work perfectly but at least you can download another market for aplications or you can download the aplications in your computer and the with the sd card you can install it in the tablet, that's really easy.
-You can use Facebook aplication and works great.
-I use ebuddy for chatting and it's perfect.
-It's really easy to check e-mails and also you can download atachments in your e-mails.
-You can play games, watch movies, listen to music, use google maps.
Cons: -It's kind of heavy.
-Of course it gets pretty hot like any electronic like this one.
-The battery doesn't last long, but if you turn it off everytime you know you are not going to use it for a while or if you block the screen , will last the necesary.
-You need to upgrade the firmware and download bunch of things, but it's fun for me to do that.
-Really hard to find a case for these, so I'm using a cosmetic case that fits perfectly.
Other Thoughts: If you want to use it for internet porpouses this is just perfect and cheap.if you are expecting to much or compare it with an ipod or ipad it's not possible so don't waste your money with this. In my case my ipod was stolen from my purse so I don't go out with it anymore and now I use this tablet and it's really working for me and everyone wants one.
Bottomline: I think it's a great deal I recomend this product, when I bought it this one,it was like the first cheap one , but now you have more posibilities, so maybe it's better one with a camera for a few more bucks.
Good for its price

Pros: Nice gadget. It is useful for web browsing and e-books reading. It is possible to kill some time with light-weight games. Operational system for this device is up-to-date, and there are both official and unofficial firmwares available. It is good looking - unlike many of Ipad-inspired gadgets. Android OS is very intuitive, and suitable even for childs.
Cons: Screen is not very sensitive. It is hard to browse through long menus. There is lack of full-screen (800 x 480) light-weight games for this device. Internal speaker is awful. Plastic is thin, and there is huge halo around each LED-indicator.
Other Thoughts: As an owner of more expensive Internet-tablet, I stiil recommend this gadget. You cannot play 3D games on it, or watch HD-video, but this device designed for other purposes.
Bottomline: As far as I know, motherboard of this device is 7th revision already. It it proof that manufacturer is trying to make this MID better. As long as firmware is updating, it is good thing to buy.
