Pros: Its a cheap little unit and has a few useful features but not many considering what we pay its an expensive paperweight
Cons: gets very hot after this unit would not hold charge stripped it down to check out all the components its uses 2 rather poor made Lion cells space is limited but RC cells fit for replacements.
Software is poor like most things china its crap, USB is slow and crashes unit from time to time
you cannot use certain 4GB Mini SD Ram in the expansion
Audio out was damaged on this unit and required a new socket to get it functional
Other Thoughts: its useful as a e book reader but anything else such as web browsing is poor and very difficult to operate as the touchscreen is
Bottomline: there are better units out there

Pros: PRICE! Major reason I initially wanted this device.
8" 800x600 screen resolution. I have several 4" 800x480 tablets, wanted that bigger better feeling and it has it.
USB port, no adapter required, no hacking necessary, just plug-in thumbdrive, USB HDD, USB Speakers, Ipods, mouse, keyboard, hub, whatever you think android should be able to use. This will be my next USB device. Mini keyboard with mouse pad.

Over 2.5 hours wifi time streaming internet radio, so over 3 hours if you just using it for reading. I think with dimmed screen, wifi off, I can get 4 hrs for reading. I recommend having several 9volt 1 to 1.5 amp power supplies. I took my PSP connector and a used 9volt 1.0 amp power supply and it's my bed side recharger. Got a multi-voltage one for the car. Like this one http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.3438
Next will probably be solar power http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.4785
Recommended additions.
Screen is glossy, I found the Ipad screen savers work great to cut down on smears and glare. http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.34653http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.34653
On board speaker needs help. USB powered speakers http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.3950

Cons: To get best performance, you should get ROOT to your OS, or switch to a ROOTed custom ROM. Market place has a few fixes and is working, but several good alternate sites exist. Once ROOTed get swap file turned on, max memory (256mb on mine) and set swappiness to 100 (max). Makes such a huge difference in response. Takes about 2 to 3 weeks of playing until you get favorite apps, rooted, and good memory manager. Slatedroid site will guide you.
Other Thoughts: Several option exist for extending usage. I think an RC 7.2volt battery pack is good setup. I'm working on building a NiMH AA power pack that can be charged by either the 9v for tablet or USB.
Bottomline: Nothing comes close in price to this for best Android experience.

Pros: Since the iPad appearded, many tablets have been introduced. This is one of the Android based versions. It works, and with Android adding applications is easy. Useful tasks are ebook reading (the included iReader is not bad), photoframe, music player, and when you load Dolphin browser exploring the internet.
Cons: This is not an iPad killer. It is too slow, the touchpad is not good enough. Battery life is very limited (less than 2 hours). Not enough power to show video, no flash sites, no Android market access and the alternatives for that are weak. Touch interfaceis too slow and unresponsie for finger operation, but you can use a stylus (my ipaq stylus is fine.
Other Thoughts: Its quite affordable, but you get what you paid for it. See it as a toy, get some experience with touch tablets, use as photoframe or read books and listen to music.
Bottomline: For this price you get a nice experience, with severe limitations in speed. But its a nice photoframeand some more!

Pros: Good size screen, USB port, Headphone jack. Most Apps that are for Ver 1.6 will run. Wonderful price Wi/fi is simple to use.
Cons: Charger is no good. but easy to get 9v 1.5A charger. Android 1.6 not 2.x. touch not multitouch. Very few Video codecs. No phone ID so hard to BUY apps. Free apps are fine.
Other Thoughts: Can read email, surf web and twitter. Can VPN into Corp network and use VNC to control PCs. Good way to show photos. Video needs work
Bottomline: Not an Ipad but worth the $136 price. Several marketplaces exist to get apps. Try Slatedroid.com for Community forums updates etc.
