Pros: Can be used to backup wii games onto an iso format from the the wiikey utility to an SDcard using the gamecube memory slot.
Cons: It does not work if you have updated your wiikey firmware. It only works on older wiikey firmware. Make sure you read some online tutorials before you commit to buying this product. Don't be fooled that it would work on everything.
Other Thoughts: It worked before for me, now it doesn't work because of the updates I made on my wii.
Bottomline: Buy this product if you want to backup your wii games and you have not made any updates to your wii.
Pros: -Wiikey brand-Good build quality-Very cheap, it's probably cheaper than breaking apart one of your memory cards to make a custom one.
Cons: -None with the actual product. However, the Wiikey team is notorious for their lack of support for their products.
Other Thoughts: This functions identically to a SDGecko, so wherever you say that, you may use this. However, SDGeckos are being used less and less in favor of the Wii's front SD slot. Still good for Gamecube Homebrew. Look up "SDLoad" and "SDBoot" for some of the uses.
Bottomline: Be sure to buy if you have a Wiikey or are a Gamecube homebrewer.
Pros: cheap good build quality very useful for those into the gamecube homebrew scene Just works
Cons: Not actually made by team wiikey not as useful as it once was as there are now much easier and faster way to dump wii games
Other Thoughts: it lets you plug your sd card into your wii or gamecube through the gamecube memory card slot
Bottomline: cheap, useful, does what it says it does
Pros: This works wonderfully with the WiiKey back-up disc on the Wii allowing one to back-up a Wii or GCN game to an SD card fo any size (using chunks if the image size exceeds the space on the SD card). This can also be used to launch homebrew emulators and other software packages as .dol files.
Cons: Everyone expects this to be a substitute for a memory card but sadly it isn't.
Other Thoughts:
Bottomline: If you know exactly what you want this for then go for it - it's a great deal and the product works perfectly for what it's advertised to do.
