Pros: Great price and does its job. Unlike the previous comments, it does not slip on the carpet, maybe there is a quality improvement on the product. There was also a game CD included in the package, stepmania. Better than the ones, which are found on internet, since it includes more than a hundred song.
Cons: When I opened the package, there was a terrible odour, like thinner or acetone. Game CD is Chinese and it's difficult to find the English version. You have to adjust the buttons and it's not easy as well.
Other Thoughts: None
Bottomline: Great product.
Pros: This is an amazing DDR pad thats WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY cheaper than other online sites!!!! The buttons are really sensitive and you don't have to get frustrated and step on it more than once! Easy to assemble! My laptop recognized it right away! No problems at all!
Cons: The only con is that the pad is too slippery on carpet.Haven't tried it on hardwood yet though....
Other Thoughts: Overall, its an amazing buy! Definitely worth spending your money on!!! You won't find a online site cheaper than DX for a DDR pad!
Bottomline: GET IT OR REGRET IT!!!!!
Pros: Best thing about it is that it works. I plugged it into my computer and it was recognized immediately. I didn't have to install other softwares and stuff.Stepmania recognized it as a gamepad, and I could set the keys and stuff. Its not too expensive either, compared to other dance pads you can buy.
Cons: Pad doesn't have much to keep it in place, you may need your own thing to keep the mat still somehow.
Other Thoughts: It works and its cheap. It doesn't seem like it'll break from lots of use either, feels pretty durable.
Bottomline: Get it if you need a USB dance pad.
Pros: It works as it is indended to do so: plug'n'play. My notebook sees it without any problems and it works great with StepMania.Haven't tryed it on Wii yet, but can't see why it shouldn't work there as well. This is the first mat i've seen so can't comment it's built quality, but it doesn't looks like it's going to get broken tomorrow.
Cons: The mat is very slippery both on carpet and wooden parquet even on easy songs. Sometime you miss just because it moved under your feet.Putting a stool heavy loaded with books on it's edge won't help, so i have to think of other means. Also noticed that its buttons active only close to edges so even if you hit the button it won't count, because you hit it not far enough from mat's center. It is a really con on my look. Also i got not what i was ordering, but a completely different mat instead. This one:http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.9844and it looked completely different from the photos also (it is red, black and dark blue, not white and light-blue).
Other Thoughts: Okay i got it 1$ cheaper than was supposed (because the mat they sent me was 27$ not 26$), but what if i wanted the mat for PS2 and not for Wii? what should i do - order that one for Wii and get the one for PS2 instead?Oh, those chineses...
Bottomline: Well if not for it's being so slippery and the buttons problem everything's okay so far.
