Ownership verified by DX Tiny Magnets!

Involvement: Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership: 1 week to 1 month

Price: starstarstarstar
Ease of Use: starstarstarstarstar
Build Quality: starstarstar
Usefulness: starstarstarstar
Overall Rating: starstarstarstar

Pros: +Very strong
+Fair price
+Perfect fridge magnets

Cons: -Break easily
-Smaller than I imagined, but to be fair the size is clearly posted in mm.

Other Thoughts: Very strong for how small they are. Very nice for adding to batteries to make them fit better. I wasn't sure if I was going to need one for my unprotected 14500 so I got them and thought they would also be fun to play with. They are.
I put one on my 14500 anyway because when I stick it in my flashlight it holds the AA to the spring so it doesn't fall out on it's own. Just a nice little extra feature.
Also glue them to random junk for DIY fridge magnets!

Bottomline: If you need them for batteries, I'd get them. Otherwise get something bigger or more of them because there's not much you can do with just 20. Besides fridge magnets and battery extenders.

Pros: very strong, especially for such small magnets. they stick to each other so well they are hard to separate. i used them to attach a tube light (diy project) to my bicycle and it does not fall off even when i hit bumps in the road. the price is very good - i'm going to buy more

Cons: they are small so they can be a bit fiddly but if you need this size they are perfect

Other Thoughts: i'm thinking about a bunch of diy projects that i can use these for now

Bottomline: very good value for a good inexpensive product. keep it up dx!

Pros: Can use them for anything, or even just for fun. So cheap, a perfect example of the wonders of DealExtreme and its free shipping.

Cons: So powerful in comparison to their size and build quality they chip easily. If you are not careful you will break several (about 25% of mine destroyed after a day or two).

Other Thoughts: The bigger ones are even cooler, the 8mm are pretty tiny. These are probably the best for actual use (ie refrigerator) and not playing.

Bottomline: Buy these or the larger ones or some type of rare earth magnets from Deal Extreme. The cost is less than a menu item at a fast food place and the entertainment is better than most trips to the movies.

Ownership verified by DX Fragile little magnet with a punch

Pros: Great little magnets for holding up whatever you really need. Very cheap as well, also is a wonderful replacement for those little metal tabs when making battery packs, saves you a bunch of grief. The are very strong for there size and can hold up most things to my fridge.

Cons: Very very fragile, if you separate them then they reattach on there own, your more then likely going to smash or break at least one into small fragments. This is the only downside to these magnets is there they are fragile and cant stand any major impact.

Other Thoughts: Great little magnets for playing around with or holding up smaller to medium size objects. Have to be careful with how fragile they are tho.

Bottomline: Very cheap and strong magnet
Only major downside is how fragile they are
