Pros: If you have a Wii and you have a tv with component input, you need this cable period!! It's cost is next to nothing and the improvement in the video is considerable. No, it won't turn your wii into a PS3, but it will improve the clarity, colors and especially any text in games.
Cons: There aren't any, the BS that somehow expensive cables are better than cheaper ones is complete BS, this looks as good as the gold insulated cables they have hooked up at Best Buy.
Other Thoughts: The only reason you might want a different cable is the length. This one is about 6 feet, it is perfect if you keep your Wii somewhat close to your TV.
Bottomline: This cable cost 5 dollars shipped, again, if you have component inputs and a Wii, spend the 5 bucks and get this cable.
Pros: It's a cable.. plug it in and it works.. what else would you expect?Wii games look so much better in HD.
Cons: It took me a moment to sort out the two red RCA plugs.. one for video and one for audio. It'd been nice if they were marked somehow.
Other Thoughts: The cable looks and feels cheaply made. But I'm not picky and I really don't think there's any sort of signal degradation at such short lengths anyway.
Bottomline: If you need a cheap HD Component cable for your Wii this is it. . . .
Pros: Cheap, Cheap and Cheap... Did i mention cheap. This arrived and i was a little unsure what to expect after some people slagging this cable off. Does exactly what it says on the tin. What are you waiting for... just buy it then read the reviews as for this price..... well worth a try.
Cons: Only i think 1.8m which isnt that long if like me you have a big HDTV wall mounted with concealed wired. I just unplug it from my TV and hook it out of sight on the bracket when not in use
Other Thoughts: This is a tad on the cheap side in terms of build quality and looking a reviews, a few people have got faulty ones but for this price and with the amount sold i would guess that most are fine. Length options for extra price would have been nice but hey.
Bottomline: If you play games apart from rubbish Wii sports then you simply must buy this cable as it makes the colours... somehow more vivid, even my mrs who hates Fifa on the wii said "that picture is quality, is it normally that good?" i kid you not. It goes in as "component" on my tv so make sure yours has got this opition and then just enjoyer crisper, clearer graphics than your normal wii cable. What a great present to buy someone also and for virtually no money.
Pros: Great cable to use with Wii if it works.Crazy Cheap.Fits good.
Cons: Froze my wii when the wii sat idle for 10mins.Save your games often!!Returned to original cable, has worked fine since.May not have been cable, but hasn't had the issue since. No damage done to wii from freezing.
Other Thoughts: Would have been great if it worked all the way. I'm not willing to take the risks and use the cable, don't want it frying the wii!!
Bottomline: No one would want to come over to play with my fried Wii. So I'll play it safe from now on!
