Pros: Ok well after the bad reviews and good verses the bad type I did not have my hopes up high. When I got them well the looks are just sweet they feel well made I mean made of real metal. Now the time came to plug them in... well kinda disappointed at first let them run in... They are not in the Sennheiser HD 440 II league $100 NZD about 10 years ago or so they are not in the league of the Philips hook style things I bought 3 years ago for $20 NZD, but they blow away the cheepies that come with some of the deal extreme mp3 players the no hook for me is a real winner as they don't get so tangled with those hooks.what do they sound like well a little canned but not in the bad way I was getting in to the music from time to time they are a little harsh in the mid range. They can have a very loud signal fed to them and they take it in there stride
Cons: well the first I have tried of the bud style they have to be placed in the ear correctly to get a good sound. and need to run in.
Other Thoughts: Ok have tried blocking the holes on the backs do they sound better? or worse I think so. I just plugged a second set that I had bought at the same time and they sounded BAD after some run in time much better.
Bottomline: Well I have tried some $2 NZD specials they are way better. They are cheep cheerful look good and depending on your point of view sound bad or good. I think for what you pay they are a good deal from the good bad and ugly....
Pros: - Nice design, seems very solid- Gold plated 3.5mm plug- Good cord length, not too long, not too short- Sound quality is ok for its price
Cons: - Cord is not soft at all, curls very easily- One of the spare earbuds pairs came with two different shades of pink. I hope the white one lasts long enough :)
Other Thoughts: - Spare earbuds could come in plain white instead of ugly blue and pink colors.- Covering the air holes in the back of each earbud does increase sound quality, but they must be there for a reason; it is probably recommended to not do so.
Bottomline: At this price, and if you are no audiophile, I would say it is a pretty good deal.
Pros: The sound is anything but tinny. Lots of bass and mid range makes listening to them easy compared with cheaper headphones that have a tinny high pitched sound. Silicone tips dont come off very easily
Cons: Almost too much bass and not the best sound reproduction. Could sound muffly. The connection to the ear buds is not that well secured.
Other Thoughts: 500 Characters is now! 500 Characters is now! 500 Characters is now! 500 Characters is now! 500 Characters is now! 500 Characters is now!
Bottomline: An okay pair of headphones if you like your bass and if you want to look good. Buy Buy Buy
Pros: 1. Looks and feels good.2. Sound quality quite ok3. Sealing of sound in the ear is great.
Cons: Actually nothing much.
Other Thoughts: Was hoping if they have more colours then it would be good. But though they have 2 additional colours for the ear studs, I would hope they have other colours for the year piece.
Bottomline: Really is a great buy, I have to regrets buying the ear piece. Because I usually roll up my ear piece and use it quite often my avg use of a ear piece is 3 a year. So with this, i think a can get more..
