Pros: * The stand is pretty small so it doesn't really block your sight.* The plug is stronger then I thought it would be, I can't rip it off the windshield. * You can turn it however you want it to be.* The PSP sits tight.* And YES: You can use a GPS with this! :)
Cons: * Every time I drive over a bump in the road the psp "falls down", the holder isn't strong enough to hold it up. Even the smallest bump makes it fall down. Nothing that hurts the psp, but it's irritating. Don't think it's a big problem though, probably just have to screw a screw or two a little tighter.
Other Thoughts:
Bottomline: Good holder for it's price. Don't get scared because of the "fall-problem", it's probably a easy fix that isn't a standard on these stands.If you have a GPS on your PSP - Buy this!
Pros: - Easy to install and remove - Good build quality / rugged - Pivot functionality! - Extremely stable - Small size (footprint)
Cons: - Could be a bit cheaper, but still excellent value for your money. - Seems to come with minimal instructions, but is easy figure out. - Getting the PSP to dock correctly takes a little practice
Other Thoughts: I have tried to search for an car-stand for my PSP for quite an long time and they have been hard to come by. This one offered by DX has many nice features and fits my car perfectly. For some cars the stand may be a bit too short, but mine was just the right length. I use it with my GPS-applications (MapThis) and it is way safer to drive when the PSP is in an easy to see location and also can be manipulated without taking your hands of the steering wheel if correctly positioned.
Bottomline: Highly recommended!
Pros: esay to use, good suction to glass.
Cons: backplat is cheap plastic and may break easily if care is not take during assembly
Bottomline: good mount for the price works well just be careful assembling the mount.
Pros: holds well, mount sticks to smooth surfaces well
Cons: feels like cheap plastic i expect mount to break over timetop of mount oulls on UMD door during removal so care must be taken when removing from carrier
Other Thoughts: compared to other mounts this is a fair price. not great but ok. it is functional but just feels cheap. i doubt it will handle lots of use without breaking
Bottomline: this is a fair deal for occasional use or somone planing on leaving it mounted.could be cheaper but it does work fine.
