Pros: Great unit, Easy to learn from other remotes.

Cons: Not waterproof Joke I had unit for over 1 year and spilled glass of rum & coke on it today, Now not working. My fault. Only pro is Air conditioner mode dose not use all the buttons.

Bottomline: If you need learning unit buy it, it is great unit. Just don't spill drink over unit.

Just pulled apart and sprayed with water repellant and blew out working again. Amazing.

Pros: Looks great for the price.

Offers codes, "semi automatic" device search and button to button learning ability.
Has an excellent illuminated display!!

Cons: built quality is nice but still feels a bit cheap (for being too light maybe, but for the price, what more can you expect??)

Other Thoughts: still heavn't tried the macro option yet, will do soon though.
If it only was a bit heavier I am sure it would have gotten better rating.

Bottomline: Excellent purchase!!
I would recommend it to those who suffer with 3-5 remotes, very very nice.

Other Thoughts: It doesn’t have codes for a Direct TV HD DVR box so all the buttons had to be learned. No big deal as the learning function is well designed.
Temperature always reads 24 degrees c. I left it outside around freezing for an hour or so and it still read 24. Evidently they didn’t hook up the temp, which I have no need for anyway.
You have to be careful learning to just quickly touch the buttons or you will get multiple commands when you use the button.
The macro function cycles slowly. It works out fine turning things on as the TV is warmed up by the time it triggers the box and stereo. But I have to be careful I don’t walk in front of it as it is turning things off.
The macro buttons work the same in all sets. That can be handy with the initial programming as you can use unused sets for programming the macros. Otherwise all the buttons have separate functions in different sets.

Bottomline: It has replaced the four remotes I had used for my entertainment system. I even have a couple of buttons programmed to control my fan. I managed to fit everything in the SAT set so I don’t have to change sets in use.
The unit meets my needs, but I wish the unit was a bit larger with larger buttons.
The price is hard to beat for a competent learning remote.

Pros: Easy to set up through brand codes (huge list of brands. It even has a code in DVD devices for my Xbox remote!
You can combine code-based programming plus learning for some buttons.
User manual in many languages.
Lightweight, slim design.

Cons: You need to give a chance to all codes for your device brand to find the best one, or go on learning mode.

Other Thoughts: Unable to disable "bip" sound on every key press.
I was unable to find a similar product on local shops for months, and when found, they cost double of this one!

Bottomline: Great product at this price ... can't ask for more!
