Pros: Wide range of codes for most appliances. Recognizes my Samsung TV, Pioneer DVD, Electra AirCondition.
Great learning option, just choose a key and learn from another remote, works with my Nakamichi AV-10 Reciever perfectly using the volume up/down, on/off, choosing a device.
Have a nice backlight screen, good balance while holding the remote.
Great 4 Macro Keys option.

Cons: Screen protection is a clear plastic which got scratched after only one day, still you can see the screen lcd, apart from that a perfect product with a perfect price, can't find a cheaper one with learning ability.

Other Thoughts: Didn't work with my Cable box, ADB, which supposed to work, but I think it's something to do with the cable box and not the remote, works perfectly with the box using the learning option, so not a big deal.

Bottomline: Get it now, for this price you can not find a better learning remote elsewhere.

- can control A/C, but I don´t have a Remote Controled A/C yet

Cons: - uses 3x aaa (they only sells in pairs here in Brazil)
- It could permit to rename ie. from VCR to Home Theater.. I dont knwow anyone who use a VCR nowadays..

Other Thoughts: This is a realy useful item from DX. I´ve didn´t lost my time finding the codes, just learned all buttons one by one.

Bottomline: Great item if you want to control everything with just one remote. I´ve programmed all buttons from all my 3 controllers (TV, SAT, STEREO) in each function, and used DVD mode to program the most used buttons. I´d like it better then a LCD Touchscreen remote, because you can press the butons without have to look to the RC.

Pros: - Each button can be programmed separately by reading the infra-red signals from the original remote control.
- The buttons layout can be switched between six sets - one for each device.
(VCR,SAT,TV,A/C,DVD,CD). Don't worry you'll need to switch between devices all the time, because each button can be programmed to anything. e.g You can be in SAT mode and yet program two buttons to change the TV's volume.
- A/C control. Now this is a big thing, because A/C remote uses a different set of IR frequencies which is not normally supported by other learning remote controls.
- Display back-light
- Has advanced functions like macros
- Has a clock (which can be used for example to turn on the TV at 19:10)

Cons: Really can't think of any.
If I had to design this remote myself, that is the way i'd do it.

Other Thoughts: Well, this device has many features and yet it is designed for ease of usage and ease of programming.
The manual is great. Short, simple and always gives an example.

Bottomline: They really thought of everything when they made this remote.
This replaced 5 remotes I had in my living room.
If you need this just get it.

Pros: Great unit, Easy to learn from other remotes.

Cons: Not waterproof Joke I had unit for over 1 year and spilled glass of rum & coke on it today, Now not working. My fault. Only pro is Air conditioner mode dose not use all the buttons.

Other Thoughts: Great unit ordered another today. great for saving desk space. Display is small but for price great

Bottomline: If you need learning unit buy it, it is great unit. Just don't spill drink over unit.

Just pulled apart and sprayed with water repellant and blew out working again. Amazing.
