Pros: really cheap solder paste
it contains lead so melt temperature is lower.
Cons: it contains lead so is somewhat toxic
mine was too thick so I had to use sku.20583 to make it more fluid.
I could use a bigger bottle like 250g so I don't have to order one again and wait another month for delivery. Also it will be nice if DX would include more products from Lodestar in the electronics hobby area, like no lead solder paste, liquid fluxes.
Other Thoughts:
Bottomline: This is a good and cheap solder paste. You can't get cheaper no matter how hard you try. I've used it to reflow surface mount parts with sucess.
Soldering paste with caveats.

Pros: Soldering paste (flux + solder) for a low price. Well packaged and sealed for our protection, LOL. Solders well from general purpose, to SMDs, to BGAs.
Cons: Way too thick. I had to add some AMTech flux (DX 20583) to this to make it usable. Stock form, it spreads terribly on solder stencils.
Sticks to everything... like SH!# on a blanket. Can't clean it off with contact cleaner, even after constant spraying. This is something you have to wipe up and scrub to get off.
Other Thoughts: Add some flux to the bucket and mix until smooth. 1 or 2 ccs will do. Trying to squeeze this out of a needle without the extra flux will make you burst a vessel. After fluxing, it's still difficult, but at least it comes out at a decent rate without excessive pressure on the plunger. It spreads easier too.
Bottomline: Lots of solder paste for the price. Well packaged, but you need to add flux to it to make it usable.
Solder included. Can be reflowed by Oven.

Pros: Low cost compare with other place. This is DX advantage not the paste. I too ordered some other solder paste, will do some performance compare after I got them.
Cons: Looking for a larger package. 50 Grams is only good for less-freqnently user.
It is Thick and hard to apply to circuit board.
Other Thoughts: Large package with more solder paste.
Compare with my water soluable solder paste (Kester), this one melt at higher temperature.
It may be good for wire soldering, but it is a bit hard for circuit board assembly.
Bottomline: It works. Will need more for frequent user.
Good for soldering

Pros: This is my first time using paste instead of soldering core and it is awesome! Good connectivity, not messy like soldering cores. Paste so its easy to apply. It creates a strong connection between the things you are trying to solder together.
Cons: None that I know of. Just maybe the tube is diffcult to get the paste out of cause its kind of small.
Other Thoughts: Maybe the packaging can be a bit different to make it easier to get out.
Bottomline: Great for soldering! Definitely a good purchase for people that solder, and even for beginners.
