Pros: Price, of course.Easy to cycle through the modes, the button pokes out the side.Plenty bright for doing detailed work in your hands, such as tying fishing knots at O'Dark thirty.
Cons: Build is kind of flimsy, and the plastic tabs that hold the light to the brim are VERY flimsy and break easily if you pull them too hard or sideways.
Other Thoughts: Battery life seems good. I've used the original batteries for 3 nights of fishing, constantly turning it on and off.
Bottomline: Get it, use it for hands free work at night, be careful with the tabs.
Pros: Fairly cheapPretty bright, definitely bright enough to navigate a walking path at night, or work in a dark environment.Came with batteries.Multiple modes: 3-led; 5-led; and 5-led flashing
Cons: Brittle plastic clips seem susceptible to breaking.Overall build quality kinda shabby. One of the two I bought needed repair to work.
Other Thoughts: Well, I bought 2 of these lights, and the first one i opened didn't work at all out of the package. I investigated a little and found that it was missing the contacts on the inside of the battery cover piece. I did a little engineering and made a new contact out of a piece i cut from an old film canister and now it works fine. The second light worked fine right out of the package.
Bottomline: Decent light for the price. As long as it's got all the pieces...
Pros: Well i bought one of these for a friend to try and he was so impressed he bought and another friend made me buy him one.Good lightweight headlight.Comfortable compared to other headlamps.Comes with a spare set of batteries.
Cons: Unfortunately i discovered these cheaper in a local shop, fortunately i sold them before i found them cheaper.
Other Thoughts: If you where a cap and need your hands to work with or ride a bike etc. then this works nicely.
Bottomline: Good price, works well, buy a couple.
Pros: It's a good buy if you're always wearing a hat, and need a good light to see what's going on.
Cons: I am somewhat concerned with the type of plastic that makes up the clips - I think it will break if you have to repeatedly take it off and put back on again. Also, one of the reflectors was broken when I received it. Fortunately, it didn't seem to affect the performance. That said, it doesn't put out much light.
Other Thoughts: Bought this before a trip away, and saw another person who had bought one similar for +$10.I found that if you hold the power button a bit longer, it will flash SOS.
Bottomline: If you're working inside, and you need to keep your hands free, this will do ya fine.
