Pros: This hub is an excellent value, full 480mbps rated on all ports. I plugged in a USB keyboard cleaner immediatly and you could hear the power in the engine. VS the $20 one in the store this is the one you want, it comes working right out of the box on 98, NT, Xp, 2000, Linux, Macintosh.
Cons: Not a single one, built quality is as expected, the cord is nice and long and it comes in ultra fast! Don't wait for it, get 2 or 3 now, you won't regret it. Fits easily in the palm of your hand and doesn't even warm up, you can rotate and twist it without an issue too.
Other Thoughts: You should definatly buy one, I can plug in 4 diffrent flash drives, MP3 players, and my TV box unit and still get full speed from all devices! I've added 2 USB battery recharges, AND the keyboard vacuum cleaner while doing a file transfer, and didn't lose a single file.
Bottomline: Get one for every single USB port you have, and you'll be able to attach half the products at DealExtreme. The shipping is quick, and you can track the packages the whole time. Free shipping and super low prices are what's normal here!

Pros: This item is a great little gadget. It lets you connect up to 4 usb devices using one usb port. I have one constantly attached to my laptop. It lets me use one port to attach the laptop cooler, two external hard drives and one extra port for a usb flash drive when needed. All work great and I have no problems. The two external hard drives are also externally powered so the system is not being overloaded.
Cons: I tried to use this unit with a passport external hard drive and my ipod connected at the same time to the computer, but it did not work. one device would kick the other one off the unit. I guess both require too much power to work together on this unit.
Other Thoughts: Overall, I am very pleased with this unit and have ordered several of these (one for each computer and for some friends).
The case is holding up well and the unit does not overheat.
Bottomline: If you do not have a heavy load of power from each device, than you can plug in four devices without a problem. It is a very economical buy. Well worth the money. Buy It!

Pros: small and cheap. Is no too ugly on table
Cons: cable to computer is too small
Other Thoughts: very well usable. Suits best for laptop, as for table computer the incoming usb cable is too short. Or you can use usb cable extender. The hub seems to have place for external power supply, but it is hardly reachable and there is no sign of voltage needed anywhere. The label on hub says this hub is suitable for MAC, Windows 2000/98/ME/XP. Interesting. I though HUB is a hardware piece whitch does not need special operating system support. Works nice under Linux also.
Bottomline: take if you need one.

Pros: Excellent Compact USB 4 Ports Hub for all your Compact USB 4 Ports Hub needs. Does it's job properly and well. No any problems found. Very small & compact.
Cons: Well, the wires on my desk look pretty messy, but you can always hide it under the desk, eh? Doesn't feel too sturdy.
Other Thoughts: Get it before it's too late. Get it before it's too early. Get it before it's too expensive. 500 characters needed, 500 characters needed, 500 characters needed, 500 characters needed, 500 characters needed.
Bottomline: Get it before it's too late.
