Pros: I have bought some for my dogs. The price is very good, but could be a little bit cheaper as you can see in other places. In some dogs its works, in others they don´t take effect. It´s good that it´s chip and I had never been taxed.
Cons: Sometimes the box it cames was damage because this is very small. Some dogs as I said doesn´t like the sound. This is not a ultrassound, you can rear the sound in ultrassonic and a little bit higher the audible sound.
Other Thoughts: It´s a good product, i would recommend you to buy
Bottomline: Ok, but you can find best options, which are more expensive in Deal extreme website.
Pros: It does not work solely by producing the claimed 'ultrasonic sound'. It works by the association of a punishment (be it a "NO!", a "STOP!", a "SHUT UP!", a slap, whatever...) to the sound. After the conditioning is stablished, the dog will interpret the sound as the owner's reprehension.
Cons: As the previously reviewer said, it may not work under ultrasonic sounds. The sounds can be clearly heard by anyone, although it is slow, so it wouldn't probably bother you (your dog's bark surely is higher than the sound the product emits). It may work better with some dogs, than others. It may be due to their way of barking. It did not work well with my dog, due to this reason, so I couldn't fully train him.
Other Thoughts:
Bottomline: You need to fully understand how it works. It does not work by simply placing it on your dog's neck. You must train your dog so that he understand that the sound means something.
Pros: It's cheap and it works OK. It works based on physical vibrations, rather than sounds so other dogs barking or you yelling won't activate it.
Cons: Since humans can't hear ultrasonic frequencies, I'm not sure the ultrasonic setting works. It does have an audible beep when it's activated, but ultrasonic? My dog doesn't like either sounds so I don't know...
Other Thoughts: It won't work for small dogs, or really hairy dogs. Also, it doesn't stay in place very well. It may just be my giant hairy dog's fault.
Bottomline: Try it. It's only $10. What do you have to lose?
Pros: It's cheapIt does make a sound if your dogs bark (or if you bark yourself or blow into the sensor)Works if your dog is sensitive to it.Doesn't hurt your dog, so that's a big plus. Those devices that give your dog a shock are awfull.
Cons: If you have a active (and small) dog, this thing might not stay in place. My dog isn't sensitive to it at all, but we have a neighbour with a similar device, and he does respond.
Other Thoughts: It's not very expensive, and it's definitly not harmfull.
Bottomline: If you have a very barky dog, and are willing to spend 10$ to see if you can stop him. Try this device.Depending on your dog, it might work or not. If it doesn't work, you can always sell it on ebay.
