Pros: - Fast enough for basic desktop use
- Good enough VGA image quality (at 1280x1024 85Hz), although slightly fuzzy
- Pretty cheap compared to other places for similar devices
- Good build quality & packaging
- Easy to use (Just install driver & plug it in)

Cons: - Doesn't support 1280x960 resolution
- Slight, but noticeable mouse lag at 1280x1024 32bit color, better with 16bpp though
- No linux drivers

Other Thoughts: - Actual product name is Winstars WS-UGA12D1
- Uses DisplayLink chip, you can get the newest drivers directly from www.displaylink.com
- Fullscreen video playback seems fine with no dropped frames (1280x1024, 25fps video)

Bottomline: Useful for attaching an extra monitor for basic desktop use
