Very bright, cheap

Pros: Bright, great size, and has a fairly wide beam.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: The output is not much more than sku: 1254 in a smaller size.

Bottomline: Cheap, awesome output, and well made.

Really bright cheap flashligh

Pros: Really bright flashlights have have so far beat all my 1-3 LED flashlights. The flashlight is sturdy and well built.

Cons: If using NiMH batteries, the high current draw and the self discharge plus their lower potenital makes the battery not last long, in use or not.

Other Thoughts: When I bought it, the price was hard to beat. Now the price has been increased slightly.

Bottomline: With the new price, this flashlight is highly recommended.

Not a Bad Backup

Pros: Not bad, especially for the price. Output is pretty well and has lasted me as a backup without using up the current batteries. The finish feels very nice, has a good metallic feel and feels very well built.

Cons: No focus, output could be higher (but is great for price)

Other Thoughts: I have received one which had a head connected to the body via a thin cable that quickly broke, and the replacement was better designed and the head is spring loaded.

Bottomline: If you need a good flashlight for the price, you cannot beat it.

I would get the Lyckeby 9-led 3-aaa light

Pros: - Pretty good output, more than 9-led version, but visually not necessarily 28/9 times more.

Cons: - Heads are not very well fitted to bodies on about 1/3 of the ~7 or so I have.
- Light output drops quickly; it soon drops to levels lower than a 9-led 3-aaa with never leds.

Bottomline: - For the price, and bulk, a 9-led 3-aaa Lyckeby is a much better buy, plus that light fits the bicycle flashlight mount sold on DX.
