Pros: -Rather cheap-Does what it's supposed to do (sort of)-No need for other adaptors if you know what's for
Cons: -Sometimes, depending on the 3.5mm (p2) plug I am using on It, one of the channels break down.-feels very cheap
Other Thoughts: I bought it to use my computer's speakers on DVd player, other uses could be:-Pluggin a Earphone to a RCA output ( be careful with the volume)-Using a 3.5male to 3.5male to attach a mp3 player to a big stereo with RCA inputs, replacing a 3.5M to RCA cable (with a huge loss of quality)
Bottomline: -You get what you pay for, and what you'r looking for as well
Pros: Easy to use and short adapter.Great to have a female version too, the male version isn't very useful for all purposes.
Cons: Quite short cable, but on the other hand very convenient at it's size. The 500 characters limit in reviews is a pain with these kinds of simple products. There isn't anything else I would like to say about this product.
Other Thoughts: I used this to get the TV-audio out of my LG LCD-TV which doesn't have audio output. I plugged normal scart-to-rca adapter in and this to the RCA-plugs. Now I have 3,5mm audio output in my LG LCD-TV.
Bottomline: If you think of any use for this cable, I highly recommend it.
Pros: ---- It's tough, made with a thick wire and good connectors. Even though it's not made for any extreme use, just plugging simple sound hardware.---- Cheap, it's a PITA** to assemble this kind of connectors, and they're very expensive and delicate. Buying the whole thing already done is easier and cheaper than doing it yourself.---- I used it to connect external speakers to my lcd tv and use at the same time the tv's original speakers.
Cons: ---- Short, (but doesn't makes much difference for what i have used it in, just sayin').
Other Thoughts: ---- A lot of useful cables here in dealextreme.com and this is one of them. I would have paid 5 times more money if i have bought them where I live(Brazil). Its very expensive here.
Bottomline: ---- Buy it if you need it, it's worth it, very well made.
Pros: Good build quallity and very cheap. Useful if your TV or other multimedia device has RCA output but no 3.5mm headphone jack output. You can use it to connect PC speakers to a TV or simply listen with earphones or headphones.
Cons: Nothing bad, at least for this cheap price.
Other Thoughts: Good for anyone who owns multimedia devices, this is a useful converter for audio signals that you can keep in your bag of tricks.
Bottomline: Very useful, and simple to use. One thing to be warned about: most TVs dont let you control the volume for RCA out with the TV control, so you may need an inline volume control unit.
