Pros: Great idea to make a 3 LED D cell flashlight.
Best price around.

Cons: LEDs are a little blue, I've had better quality 3w Luxeons before. The one I received only had thermal grease on one emitter and rest of the emitter were just soldered on, possible heat problems in the future.

Other Thoughts: I couldn't get it to work, but it might be my fault. I tried all different combos to power + and -. Then tried to power each individual LED w/no luck.

Bottomline: I had to de-solder all the emitters, which were working, and I just put it back together to get it to work.

I'm sure it worked to begin with, I just don't know how to use it.
