Usefulness: starstarstarstar
Overall Rating: starstarstarstar

Pros: - Plug and play operation in Windows XP SP3
- All buttons and joysticks recognized OK
- Really cheap
- Short cable (IMO a good thing)
- Foolproof

Cons: - Vibration didn't seem to work.

Other Thoughts: Tested only with PC and DualShock2 controller.
Windows recognizes it as USB joystick. 12 buttons, analog X/Y axis (left analog), analog pitch/yaw (right analog) and 8-direction POW (D-pad).

Bottomline: Great value, easy to use, works as it shoud.
A good purchase if you want a good joypad for PC and already have a PS controller.

Pros: Brilliant as it is immediately recognized by windows vista ultimate sp1 without any problems.
It can be connected directly to work on both usb 1.0 or 2.0
No problem joystick either.
In combination with a program of emulation as XPadder, all games are playable on the throttle without any problem.
I can play with my joystick prototype Playstation2 by configuring the buttons and all the games I have.

Cons: Maybe a cable could be longer but this is not really a problem because the wire of the joystick of the playstation2 is long enough to compensate.

Other Thoughts:

Bottomline: An indispensable tool for those who love to play the same lever on PC easily since it will replace the keyboard / mouse.
the fact that it is plug and play is another asset.

Pros: Nice little converter so that you can reuse your old PS1 and PS2 controllers. Works fine for the most part on my blue 'Stolen' (game) pad except it doesn't recognize the L3 and R3 'buttons' when pressing down on the analog stick (for PC that is).
I've tested it on the PS3 with Need for Speed Prostreet, Army of Two and GTA4 and everything works as expected.
For PC I tried out Dynasty Warriors 4, Dynasty Warriors 6, Samurai Warriors 2, Orochi Warriors, rFactor and Test Drive Unlimited. They all work except for the L3/R3 issue which is not much of a problem.

Cons: Didn't like my original PS2 Dualshock 2 controller when I tried to map the directional pad. Also my Joytech controller doesn't fit in the connector port of the adapter; its a bit too large to go in.

Other Thoughts: The cord cord have been a bit longer but thats no big deal considering most PS controllers already have long cord lengths. Comes up as a USB joypad when you plug it into a computer, then you can go to Game Controllers in the Control Panel, Calibrate it ONCE and from then on it'll work all the time when you connect it.

Bottomline: Just buy one, it'll come in handy for sure.

Pros: - Really cheap.
- Literally Plug N' Play, just hook it up and it works!
- The PS2 controller isn't only great for Ps2 also for Ps3 and the pc.
- Quality is good for the price

- The plastic feels a bit cheesy, not that it matters much.

Cons: - It doesn't work with the dance mat.
- If I push alot buttons at time it won't response.

Other Thoughts: I don't have a ps3 but my friends does, and it's just the same as the ps3 controller.

Bottomline: If you have a Playstation controller, take it you can't go wrong because it really works!
