Pros: Seems good quality, Flexibel, bright enough, can be cut to match required space, easy to hide in small places.
Cons: A bit pricey (18,55 when I made my purchase), need maybe 2 in parallel to work as the only light source in most aplications?
Other Thoughts: If they were cheaper the would be great for lighting up stairs. 1 or maybe 1/2 attached on the underside of each step. Would look awesome!
Bottomline: Not much else to say... These will work well in a car, rv, cabin, etc as long as they are protected from high humidity.
Pros: Very thin light, 1 meter long, wide viewing angle, comes witha DC Barel as a power connector, extendable, cuttable into three led sections
Cons: Slightly pricey, not as bright as SKU 11303.
Other Thoughts: These use single emitter SMDs and have 150 ohm resistors. the LEDs read 3.1 volts when used on 12v. This means that these are well protected against the charging voltages offered by the alternator of a vehicle.
Bottomline: These are nice strips if price isn't much of a concern, but for brightness, these are not the best.
Pros: I've bought in total 8 of these during the last 6 months. The first ones didn't come with the 3M sticky tape on the back, and their build quality wasn't very good - there was leds a bit crooked etc. The latest ones I've received are of very good quality. These cost about half of the price that they would cost me locally.
Cons: 1 out of 8 of these that I've bought had a couple of LEDs busted. Dealextreme replaced it in accordance to their process - which is a bit tedious and thus quite a bit of extra work, but all went well.
Other Thoughts: I used these to light my kitchen cabinets that have a dim white-tinted glass. Looks very good. I also used them to light a shelf in the kitchen, adds a nice effect.
Bottomline: Good stuff, worth the price.
Pros: It's a well made, straightforward product. Surface-mount LEDs are bright and nicely affixed to the strip. The whole package is very thin.
Cons: Maybe just a hair pricey, but it seems to be of very good quality, so I can't really complain.
Other Thoughts: You cut the strip in 3-LED segments, and the protective coating is nicely removed from the contact points where you would solder. There's a 3-M adhesive backing attached to the strip as well. Total length is about 3 feet or about 1 meter.
Bottomline: This is a thin, easy to use strip of LEDs. That they operate on 12V is a great bonus, whether you're working on a car or in a computer case. The light is nice and even. I hightly reccomend!
