Pros: Easy to use. One button, bang, done.
And being IR, no vibrations to blur your shot!
Much cheaper than the official wireless remote / other alternatives.
 
Cons: None. It works as described. May consider the direction limiting, but it's not at the fault of the remote, but rather that the camera uses infrared for remote control. This is still a lot more flexible than using a remote shutter cord.
 
Other Thoughts:  
Bottomline: Simple item. Works as described on my Nikon D40. Just set up the camera to accept remote control and at the press of a button the shutter goes!

Pros: Works like it should.
Wireless (???)
Free Battery
Good range (at least as far as across my living room and onto the balcony)
 
Cons: Kind of frumpy looking.
No extra controls, just shutter.
 
Other Thoughts: I wanted this for doing HDR panoramics, So i wouldn't have to touch the camera to make the exposure. These new DSLRs dont take my old cable releases. So as long at the battery's are working this is ideal. 
Also good for self portraits.
 
Bottomline: You simply can not beat this price for what could be an essential piece of gear for your camera bag. If you just got a new DSLR this is great way to add even more value to your investment.

Pros: This works just as well as the original, at a percentage of the price.
I wouldn't be afraid of losing it when I bring it out.
Works great with my Nikon D40. Even ships with a battery included.
 
Cons: When I bought mine in March '08, it was $4.74. Seems like the price has been lowered since...
 
Other Thoughts: Would be great if the JIANISI brand name could be omitted as it really doesn't add anything to the product.
 
Bottomline: Get this if you need a cheap IR remote for your Nikon DSLR.

Pros: For a very low price you get a very handy and usefull remote. Works very good on my Nikon D60 which I bought 2 months ago.
 
Cons: None really. But why still the 500!!! characters??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
 
Other Thoughts: When you buy this in a normal store you will pay a lot more for it then when you buy it at DealExtreme.............................................................................
 
Bottomline: Buy this if you need a simple remote for your Nikons DSLR camera.
