Works Well with Canon 430EX

Pros: I am using it with my Canon Rebel xti(or so called 400D) Works fine.
The (S) button works just like pressing the shutter on the camera.
The (2S) button is useful when you want a delay to put your hand down when taking a picture of yourself.
The build quality is good. It looks shiny like an HP laptop cover.
 
Cons: For Canon Rebel xti (400D), the reset of the buttons are useless.
Good for only if you are in front of the camera, not good if you are taking the picture behind the camera, you have to reach your hand to the front in an awkward position.
 
Other Thoughts: Really handy for such a good price. I would get a wired one as well for shooting in the night.
 
Bottomline: Works the way it should, pretty good range.

Doesn't work on a 40D

Pros: This is a well built remote, with the right features on it.  Pity it did not work on my camera :-(
 
Cons: This will _not_ work on any x0D Canon camera such as the 30D or 40D.  It does not support InfraRed remotes.
 
Other Thoughts: Makes sure you are using a 300D/350D/400D/450D or the Rebel range in the US, - this will not work with the 30D or 40D.
 
Bottomline: Though this did not work on my camera, I was not disappointed as I know several people with 350D's and I gave it to them as a gift.  This item was so inexpensive, that it didn't really bother me :)

Pros: This thing is built very well. Very solid. Also very small. You can slip it into your pocket with no problem. Has a button for instant shot and another button that will wait two seconds before taking a shot. Works every time with my Canon 350D/Rebel XT. I've used it about 25 feet away from the camera and it works.
 
Cons: Can't think of any cons.
 
Other Thoughts: This is very handy if you want to take self portraits with you family and friends. Even though there are five buttons on it, only two work with my Canon 350D. I've read somewhere that the other buttons are for a camcorder, but I'm not positive about that.
 
Bottomline: A wireless remote should have been included with my Camera but DX is kind enough to sell one for a very good price. This remote works flawlessly every time I've used it.
Quit reading all the reviews and buy it already.

Pros: Easy and Simple to use. Using it with my EOS400D. Works perfectly as it should. Range is good as promised. I was looking for a Remote for my EOS400D for a long time that was cheap and this product perfectly fits my Requirement.
 
Cons: Not much that i can think of. Probably the build quality could have been a bit better, but can't really complain at this price. Could not find any use of the bottom three buttons.
 
Other Thoughts: Could not find any use of the bottom three buttons. Only the top two buttons are usable for EOS400D. Could have been a bit smaller.
 
Bottomline: Excellent value for money. Works as required. If you are looking for a remote that works and do not want to spend a lot of money, go for it. So cheap with free shipping worldwide. you can't find a better deal.
