Pros: The pad is made of a plastic that feels a little flimsy if you press on it as it bends down, however it looks like it is built well enough for the job. I left it on for several hours, maintained heat on the pad (hot to the touch). It works very well if you use a stainless steel or copper cup. Very affordable, these usually sell here for $10-15. Better than USB as it does not take up current or power from computer.
Cons: While the pad generates enough heat to be too hot to keep your fingers on it for longer than a few seconds, it is not enough heat to make any difference in keeping warm an already hot cup of coffee if the cup is ceramic or glass (I have tried different shapes and sizes). Every time the ceramic or glass cup gets cold just as fast as without the warmer, so you need a metal cup.
Other Thoughts: Overall it is an excellent purchase as long as you use a metal cup, such as stainless steel or copper. So I would recommend to buy it for this price! I will post up pictures and video soon.
Bottomline: great deal for the price!
Pros: VERY easy to use it! A 1OO% Idiot Proof!Weights nothing and fits on average Desks;Helps to Adress, Organize & Parks your Cup;
Cons: Do NOT works in average Tropical Contries!The maximum temperature, is about the 37ºC.If your region is COLD, I think it is OK.The designed pieces, are NOT very strong;
Other Thoughts: Makes jealousy eyelooks, among work pals;Cheap, buy one, to that Firewalled Woman;Nice to BABE´S MILK correct temperature;
Bottomline: Spents very few volts! Buy two of them!
Pros: Cheap.Also, it doesn't produce too much heat so I assume it will not spontaneously catch fire or explode. : )
Cons: WEAK!Takes about half an hour to heat a bottle of cold water to just about 'cool' when room temperature is about 15°C.If it's hot water though, it can keep it warm for an hour or two.
Other Thoughts: I'm already using a flat-bottom thin-walled aluminium bottle. I imagine that it'd perform much worse with a typical mug.
Bottomline: It was worth having around when I only had cold tap water to drink. Now I get hot water from a kettle, and it sort of helps to keep it hot for longer.
Pros: Keeps drinks hot for long periods, tactile on/off switch, A/C powered means one less used USB port, price is right.
Cons: Very loose fitting plug; will slip out unless held in place, cord is abit too short and thin, build quality is average, on/off switch in awkward spot; would of liked it at the front of warmer.
Other Thoughts:
Bottomline: Although it does what it's supposed to do, the design and quality could've been better. The loose fitting plug is a nuisance as well as cord length. But for the price it's a good buy.
