Pros: cheap, works very well. I use it for video/tv capture for my home teathre pc. I plugged this adapter to the cable decoder and the signal is recongnized by the pc. Grab easily the tv signal and convert it in .avi (or others, but I prefere .avi). Quality image and sound is acceptable. Not bad, considering the price.
Cons: too many options to choose. Not friendly for average users. Huge countries like Mexico doesn't appears in the country list. The software seems preconfigured for Pal instead of NTSC, I had to select this one several times because it comes back to Pal.
Other Thoughts: Not so easy to configure. It's not just plug and go. You have to try different options for the best results. There are no instructions.
Bottomline: Useful and cheap. What more?............................

Bottomline: if you are having problems with the video, try changing to PAL or NTSC-M or the contrary in the properties of the device in my computer.se você esta tendo problemas com o video, tente mudar de PAL-M para NTSC ou o contrario nas propriedades do dispositivo em meu computador.
Pros: No good things to write it, it does not work at all with me.
Cons: I tried to use it on my PC with Vista SP1 and XP pro Sp2 but it works on neither.In fact as soon as I put it refuses to connect to the usb 2.0 and usb 1.0 on it connects me but makes an error message indicating a lack of bandwidth and then planted all video editing software that I 've tried and even the PC crashes five seconds after.For that I put on the usb 2.0 I have to reboot and then it connects me and planted the PC that I have to reboot.In short I am disappointed and it does not work at all for me while my PC configuration is very good.My PC is new and does not lack for anything yet this does not at all.I do not want to redo the package to return it and so he ended up in a drawer dasn is damage at this price it is not working!

Bottomline: Buy it if you are sure it works for you because for me it is the only purchase that I regret from DX.I searched for a solution on the web but I have not found anything that works for me.In short, you see if you really need.
Pros: Very good capture device!You can: Capture, edit video, strem live.can be used with any devices, dvd's, consoles with AV cables (I guess any has)buy if you know wht to use it for.Supports: PAL-M, PAL-N, PAL-I, PAL-J, NTSC and SECAM.
Cons: I was a bit dissappointed when I found out that I could not capture in PAL-60 because most of the xbox 360 games runs in PAL-60 The AV cables could be longer.It gets quiet hot but otherwise there is nothing.
Bottomline: Card is great as I wrote..cool design and you even get an usb extension cable + the cd with all you need: Professional software, drives for the EasyCAP (Syntek STK1150)shipped nicely.seriously consider buying this item.. it's the 12 bucks worth it!
