Ownership verified by DX Fun

Involvement: General (knows how to use it) - Ownership: 1 day to 1 week

Price: starstarstarstarstar
Ease of Use: starstarstarstar
Build Quality: starstarstarstarstar
Usefulness: starstarstarstarstar
Overall Rating: starstarstarstarstar

Pros: -Easy to fly after some time;
-Stable;
-10 minutes flight time;
-Lights (the lights seem useless, but it helps you a little to observe the attitude/heading of the chopper);
-Comes with a spare tail rotor;
-Comes with a separate charger for the heli;
-Scares the dog.

Cons: There are no notable cons, but I will name some:
-the trim needs to be re-adjusted when the battery is going low;
-Spare parts seem hard to get, I have not experienced it yet.

Other Thoughts: DealExtreme says it's infrared remote, but actually it is RF, which I prefer. There seems to be a 27 MHz version and a 40 MHz version, I have the 40 MHz.

Bottomline: Overall, it's an extremely cheap toy. For $31 you get a 3-channel remote, a fully functional and assembled chopper and a separate charger for the helicopter.
If I might break it, I'll instantly order another one. It's impressive to see a thing hovering in your room, and everybody will instantly love it. My friend already ordered one too.

Involvement: Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership: more than 1 month

Price: starstarstarstar
Ease of Use: starstarstarstar
Build Quality: starstarstar
Usefulness: starstarstarstarstar
Overall Rating: starstarstarstar

Pros: Flies really well and hovers steadily.
Charges fast, flies long enough with one charging.
Doesn't take so long to learn how to fly it.
Takes the signal well.

Cons: Not that strong really.
available spare parts could be nice.

Other Thoughts: I figured out in a week how much this can last. I accidently hit mine to a wall, resulting the mosquito tilting sideways, dropping to the floor and bouncing sideways pretty rough to other side of the room, getting little stuck on the couch. This bended the main axil just enough that the upper and lower rotor won't spin freely any more. Now the mosquito just shakes and the lower rotor stops and starts turning with the upper one right when the motor stops.

Bottomline: Try not to crash your helicopter too bad and you are going to have fun times with this one.
I'm going to order a new one and use the old as a spare parts for it if I brake something again. (:

Involvement: General (knows how to use it) - Ownership: more than 1 month

Price: starstarstarstar
Ease of Use: starstarstar
Build Quality: starstarstarstarstar
Usefulness: starstarstarstar
Overall Rating: starstarstarstar

Pros: + Comes in a nice box (not the general white box), so it's easy to give it as a gift
+ Great quality. Mine took a fall several times and also flown too close to the walls, but nothing broke and it still works perfectly
+ Good looking. Leds are nice
+ RF remote control, not infrared

Cons: - Hard to fly at first, but when you get used to it's fine.
- Fly time could be longer
- Trim as to be readjusted when the battery is getting low

Other Thoughts:

Bottomline: Great little fun. Make sure you have big rooms to fly this otherwise you'll be frustrated

Overall Rating: starstarstarstar

Pros: fun product, lasting and still working. design is ok but could be better. kids and adult will surely enjoy this. for i myself enjoyed it very much.

Cons: came with the bad charger/or wrong charger i should say. i could not charge it to its use. i went and bought me another one and it work since. dx did not really helps, they need picture of original charger. i didn't know how to sent it to them. otherwise, very good stuff.

Other Thoughts: bought it for pleasure and pleasure it is.

Bottomline: just beware and tell dx to send you the right charger, otherwise you have to go get it yourself. other than that, it is a good product.
