Pros: Very acceptable price, capacity is quite good (hasn't needed charging once in my laser, though I have been using for several weeks), build quality OK, and overall very good.
Cons: Its base is getting worn away slightly by the spring of my laser - it now has a nice deep ring gouged in it. Also, the label feels a little cheap, but this is to be expected. Other than this, no issues at all - though I haven't read the text, you may expect to find some spelling errors.
Other Thoughts:
Bottomline: Cheap, cheerful rechargable and protected batteries that really deliver a punch!
Pros: Very well constructed battery. Came with 3.8VCame with good packaging.Seems to provide an even amount of power as my torch didn't dim after a few minutes.
Cons: None found yet. 500 word limit is too long for a battery :P
Other Thoughts: Provided a good fit in my flashlight SKU 12623Haven't used it long enough to charge it fully yet. But hopefully it all works good.
Bottomline: Get some battery cases to store your batteries in. Great product. Definitely buy this one as it has the most protection (over charge, undercharge, shorting)
Pros: All I can say is they work as advertised. I needed batteries for an electronics project and these guys had the best capacity to price ratio I could find anywhere. The discharge/overcharge and short-circuit protection also meant I didn't have to design additional protection circuitry.
Cons: No cons about the batteries themselves, it was just very difficult to get a battery holder for them. In the end I ended up getting two AA battery clips. The Trustfires were a little big, but they fit, I just had to space the clips the right length apart on the PCB.
Other Thoughts: I wish I could have tested and verified their capacity, but they were unfortunately stolen before I could do that. All I can say is I used them in an application requiring about 300mA, and they lasted for quite a while before needing a recharge.
Bottomline: Get them if you need Li-Ions, use AA battery clips on a custom PCB as battery holder.
Pros: Cells seem to work as advertised, no problem so far with function or manufacturing. I've only used them for a couple weeks so far, but they seem as good as some premium priced cells (AW) for my application. I don't have any equipment to test capacity or discharge rates though.
Cons: None so far. If these continue to perform as they have been, I'd buy some more for sure.
Other Thoughts: Took quite a while to charge (several hours). That's probably normal considering the quantity of energy they store. It makes it tough to wait when you have a new flashlight you want to play with though! As always, DX takes forever to get them to you in the first place too, which doesn't help the impatience!
Bottomline: Get them. Good price for a good product, and that's what you're here for in the first place, isn't it?
