Pros: - Capacity is exactly was they are rated to- They last FOREVER! My 250 lumen flashlight ran on these for around 18 hours continuous burn time! Amazing!- They fit in any flashlight they are meant for, barely.
Cons: - 67mm long instead of the 65mm stated but they fit just fine.
Other Thoughts:
Bottomline: What more can you ask for, Cheap durable and they have an incredible lifetime. Ive had mine for 4 months and they are still going strong being recharged once or twice a week. They have protection built in so you don't fry your electronic goodies.Buy this two pack and you will have a spare for when the one in your flashlight runs out. Incredible deal, worth the money!
Pros: These seem well made contrary to other posters impressions. The capacity seems to be almost 100% of rated capacity at a 1A discharge rate. Initial tests give a capacity of 2450mAh at a 1A rate.
Cons: They are 67mm long so a little bit longer than the 65mm in the name. They are 18.6mm at the greatest diameter, again a little over nominal. However all cells vary and these fit my flashlight just fine.
Other Thoughts: I am using this charger:TrustFire All-in-One Charger (for 10430/10440/14500/16340 /17670/18650/CR123A)http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.4151I'm not sure what level of protection these have and how they compare toTrustFire Protected 18650 Lithium Battery (2400mAh 2-Pack Gray)http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.5776They do have a thin strip under the sleeve indicating some form of protection.
Bottomline: Good value cells.
Pros: These arrived with one at 3.98V and the other at 4.02V. Using SKU# 00936 they charged up to 4.19V when the light turned green. I didn't time it, but this took hours. Both fit the flashlight well without any rattle.
Cons: No complaints so far, especially at this price. Will see how they hold up long term. At this price it would be hard to justify anything else based on my experience so far.
Other Thoughts: Checking the voltage while the batteries were in the charger resulted in a higher reading than the 4.19V. The highest was about the time the green light came on, which was 4.23V. This may be normal. I was unable to verify when the protection circuit cuts off to protect from overcharging and how this would affect the overcharge protection of the charger(SKU# 00936).
Bottomline: Seem to be good batteries, especially for the price.
Pros: They last for quite a while. I'm assuming the actual capacity is near their rated capacity, which is quite a surprise.Protected cells? What else to say? It'll 'kill' itself if you do something wrong.
Cons: Have to treat these with care, eg don't reverse them or undercharge and mix cells.Feels a little cheap too.
Other Thoughts: I'm using these in a WF-600 and a WF-800. Both fit snugly and work well.
Bottomline: You'll need these if you're getting any of the CREE flashlights from DX that use 18650 cells.500 characters?
