Pros: * Since the wireless is crap in my Wii, this unit allowed me to download updates for my Wii.
* Great price
* Sturdy construction.
* Apparently works in a PC too, but I have not bothered to test this function, as every PC in the last 5 years has onboard LAN anyway :)
 
Cons: * Ugly colour, and quite large, but who cares really as it does the job well.
 
Other Thoughts: * Maybe I should have sent my Wii back, but since it has never worked, I would want it back asap, so this will do.  Nintendo's help/customer service is crap.  The treat you like an idiot with regards to network settings.....I'm a network administrator, of course I know what i'm doing!
 
Bottomline: * There was no way in hell i was giving nintendo another cent for an official product when my Wii should have worked.  That's why i bought here, and I wasn't disappointed.

Pros: I bought this device to connect my Wii via my mobile broadband internet service,(I dont have a land DSL line) once I configured my laptop to allow other devices to connect to the internet in effect using my laptop as a gateway.. it worked perfectly!
 
Cons: None, build quality is very robust.
 
Other Thoughts: Costs a lot less then in the high street shops. One stored I visited wanted 45 Euro's for a USB - LAN adapter!!
 
Bottomline: For a solid USB to LAN adapter connection you cant go wrong. this device suited my needs perfectly.

Pros: The connection with internet is perfect. The price is another invite to buy it.
Easy to install, it’s like plug and play. In Wii settings, rapidly been recognized.
It´s made in a good plastic materal, the USB connector is good.
Entrega gratuita para o Brasil com chegada em média de 20 dias. Facilita a vida de quem tem internet sem fio com pouco desempenho.
 
Cons: The cable was to short. If was in withe color would be better.
 
Other Thoughts:  
Bottomline: It´s a good deal. With you don’t have a wireless internet or not have a broad connection, this good is for you.

Pros: - True «Plug N Play»... plug in the Wii, configure the connexion and it's working!
- the price is very good!
- A CD is include for using with PC
 
Cons: - The color is a weird "light-gray" (but hey, for the price...)
- Both LED on the adapter is red... normally it's yellow and green (but hey, for the price...)
 
Other Thoughts:  
Bottomline: If you want a GOOD and GREAT USB LAN for the Wii, buy this one!!! If you need a GOOD USB Ethernet adapter for your PC, this one do the job without problem.
The price is very good... the same item here in canada is twice the price.
You will have a GREAT product for a great price!

The Wii LAN adapter is required to connect the Wii console to a wired access point, such as a broadband modem or wired router.

Product features:
Requirements to connect the Wii console online with a wired connection.
In order to connect the Wii console online with a wired connection, you will need following:

-A Wii LAN adapter
-An active broadband internet connection, such as DSL or Cable
-A compatible internet service provider(ISP). some ISPs require a sign-in every time you connect online, or are otherwise incompatible. Contact your ISP for more information.
-Either a broadband modem or wired router with an available ethernet port.
-An ethernet cable.

Usage Instructions

How to use?
If you have a wired local-area network, you can connect your Wii directly to the network with a Wii LAN adapter.When it's ready, step through the following internet setup process.
1. Select the connection settings
2. Select an open connection indicated by "None"
3. Select wired connection
4. Select OK to test the connection

Note: Select the console information option if you need to check the MAC address.
