Pros: Well it's time for me to write a report for those, who might be interested. Find the results of this comparison in the section Other Thoughts.- Very bright !!!- Very handy in size- Very nice looking- Powerful all-in-one Flashlight for short usage time!
Cons: - Wow, bad temperature management - it is really getting HOT after three minutes of working time. I have a very bad feeling if I let this little friend burn more than five minutes. - Getts even hotter if you just let it burn without holding it in your hand and cooling it by this.- One bad point: The reverse clicky has a bad quality. It is very hard to use, I even thought to replace it.
Other Thoughts: So here my great comparison between 5 different Cree emitters. I will list them in the order of the brightness as far as I can tell:1. Cree R22. Ultrafire WF-602D3. Ultrafire WF-505B4. Ultrafire WF-502B5. SKU 11810My suggestion if you are only interested in the Cree emitter is: Go for the Ultrafire WF-602D. As a bonus you have the nice WF-602D Flashlight body after disassembling it.
Bottomline: The temperature issue is naturally caused by the little metal body surrounding the flashlight. So the passive cooling part is not enough to guarantee a cool running flashlight. A question rises for me: Does such a hot running flashlight have an effect on the Li-Ion battery? Hmm, I have to investigate that for security reasons!!!
Pros: I love this light. This is my EDCThis light is very small and relatively inexpensive so that if you lose/break it you don't feel guilty. The light can use RCR123 also, so you can save a lot of money by using rechargeables. The output is amazing, and it is perfect for showing off.
Cons: The light gets really hot in around 5 mins fo usage. However, I have used mine for over 30 mins continuously and there were no problems.
Other Thoughts: A RCR 123lasts for around 40 mins in this light
Bottomline: Get it, you will love it
Pros: Good and bright torch. Very small size so easy to carry around with you anywhere!Solid build, looks good.
Cons: I got a faulty unit. When I turn it on, the torch won't light up unless I shake or hit it against my hand.I have contacted DX for a replacement.
Other Thoughts: Has a clicky on/off switch as the item description describes; the previous purchaser must have got a wrong shipment if his was a twist switch.
Bottomline: Good torch, bright, but perhaps I prefer the AA cell ones as AA batteries are cheaper.
Pros: Very powerful for such a small flashlight. i attached it to my key ring, and can't even notice it's in my pocket. very compact size can screw into a stand as well.
Cons: Twisted switch not click on/off get hot pretty quick. Protected CR123A won't fit in to it.
Bottomline: buy it if you wanted a very small powerful flashlight and you don't mind the twisted switch
