Pros: Excellent price for an excellent 18650 battery charger. The charger takes 2 18650-type batteries and charges each one individually until each battery reaches 8.4v then it switches to trickle charge. There's one status LED for each battery. LED is red when charging, turns green when fully charged (8.4v).
Cons: Occasionally, when batteries are fully charged, the green LED lights pulsate very quickly until batteries are removed.
Other Thoughts: It would be nice if the AC cord is removable.
Bottomline: If you need one, buy one or two :)
Pros: Seems to be really robust. Works good with adapter to plugs being used in Germany. Good price (of course it could always could be a lil bit cheaper ;)) The time it takes to load an 18650 battery is good. They batteries dont get too heat.
Cons: The loader is a little bit too big. Smaller would be nicer of course only if this would be possible without any without technical reservation (if you go on a trip).Thats it.
Other Thoughts:
Bottomline: All in one I can recommend this loader to everyone who wants to load his/her 18650's well.
Pros: Price is goodworks wellsimple to use
Cons: none, charges my blue trustfires sku 5790 just great
Other Thoughts: Simple to use. Plug it in, put the batteries in the correct way and pull them out when done. Lights start red and turn green when done.Takes 2-3 hours for the blue trustfire 18650.I like it's simplicity and it has been reliable so far. I don't know about modding it to charge other batteries, I only charge 18650 but it does that well.
Bottomline: If you want to charge multiple battery types or have more options there may be a better choice. If you want to plug in your 18650s and have them charge, I recommend this.
Pros: Great little 2 channel charger and at the right price. Foolproof design that charges the batteries it was intended to with no issues. Even an unprotected battery left on well past the green light will only go to about 4.21V. Multimeter shows charging voltage as 4.21 to 4.22 so no chance of a runaway battery.
Cons: Plastic body could be a little bit thicker, but seems strong enough.
Other Thoughts: When charging, lights are red until the battery gets to about 4.15V, then about 1/2 later it hits 4.2V with no significant battery warming. I have bought about 15 of these for various folks to charge 18650 and 17670 batteries and have heard of no problems whatsoever.
Bottomline: If you charge a lot of batteries of the correct length and amperage requirements, then you can't go wrong with this charger.
