Pros: *Looks just as good as a genuine one*Cost effective PSP repair after a drop*All screw holes, etc lined up correctly
Cons: Buttons were loose after installation, rattling around in the housing. Also, the bottom edge was pressing on the LCD, causing rippling on the screen, which resulted in me removing this product from my PSP to avoid permanent damage. Would really have liked to have used this.
Other Thoughts: Would be good to see a package with all of the buttons included, and to have it fit better as to the points mentioned above.
Bottomline: A good option though if you actually broke your original housing. If you're looking to just change for aesthetic purposes, perhaps try elsewhere.
Pros: Fits my psp 2001 perfectly. Beautiful color. Good quality. Has all the same markings as the original so it looks authentic.
Cons: A little more lightweight than the Sony original faceplate -- though the difference is not noticable once installed.
Other Thoughts: This is the first time I've ever replaced any parts on any of my handlheld consoles. I had no problem removing my original faceplate and installing this new one. The red is a beautiful deep wine/red color. The product picture really doesn't do it justice.Keep in mind, though, that to remove the original faceplate you have to lift a label in the battery compartment that voids the PSP warranty. Mine's out of warranty already so I wasn't concerned.
Bottomline: I highly recommend this product.
