Pros: Unit is reasonably easy to instal and get running. Privacy seems quite secure, people at the computer can of course see who you are talking to, but can't listen to the conversation. Pushing the speaker phone button on the base whilst using the handset doesn't let the person at the computer listen, it flashes the LED and switches to speakerphone when the handset is placed on the base.


Cons: None found yet, but am a little concerned there seems to be no way to shut off the phone when you shut down your computer.


Other Thoughts: Too early to comment further, but I'm happy with it so far, speach quality is excellent, range as good as the other DECT type phones in the house on 1.8 GHz.


Bottomline: I bought 2, one is being shipped off shore to give privacy to a lady friend that presently can't use Skype with any privacy. I'd buy more of these if I needed them, they do what they were bought to do.
