Pros: - Value for Money- Small- Portable- Status Leds- Speed of charging
Cons: - Doesn't charge all batteries I tried: Some no-name batteries with high power like 2400mAh are refused to be charged or are charged partly.- Blue led should be green.
Other Thoughts: Too bad it doesn't accept all batteries, but it's a nice little charger to carry with you on holiday. Because it's a speedcharger, you can have your batteries filled up in an hour of two, so if you only have one set of batteries for your camera, this is a must have !
Bottomline: I would recommand this charger to anyone, but make sure you have branded batteries, so no OEM or no-name, because they won't (always) get charged.
Pros: +compact size and lightweight++ 4 channel - lets you charge each battery individually+++ quick++++ status leds
Cons: none for this price
Other Thoughts: Very useful little charger. The biggest advantage is sepparate channel for each battery. If you want to charge one batery - no problem, if you want to charge three - also no problem. The charger is quite fast, therefore it gets rather hot during charging - but that's normal.
Bottomline: This is very good charger. I hope the build quality is also good and the charger won't break after a month.
Pros: low weight, Portable, in its price range, it has the highest charging current of 2A,better than lcd ones, very satisfactory charge time for two batts. for 4 batts you have to be a bit patient. Color coded Indicators are easy to understand and observe. Build quality is very satisfactory.
Cons: None
Other Thoughts: From engineering point of view, an economic solution for people who want to have fast charge capability. It has good price/performance ratio. It can be improved. Charging current can be increased and additional car adapter may provide outdoor capability.
Bottomline: My bestbuy item on DX, best price/performance ratio. Strongly recommended
Pros: compact, has four indipendent channels for batteries, has a cable (I prefere cable to those chargers that plug in directly in AC wall). Works very well, charge fast but not in excess (super fast chargers short the live of batteries). Nice looking. Easy to manage.
Cons: Not cheap. Has an european plug (I had to fix it wit an american adapter).
Other Thoughts: Would be better with an american (flat) plug, and if were a bit cheaper. Also is too fast, I would prefere a medium-slow charging time (two to three hours) to prevent damages to batteries.
Bottomline: Worth to buy
