This pad suffers from the lack of writing pressure sensor, the relative small writing area, and the Chinese base installation setup program (it's actually a one-click setup program, so it isn't that bad. When you run the program, you can choose English menu instead).

In addition, the writable screen of both the small - IV and large - VII pad are the same. It's just the body of the large - VII pad that is bigger.

Nice multifunctional Tablet

Pros: I have spent a bit of time playing with this item. Trying the software that came with it, also trying software from other vendors and different operating systems. It works as designed. When inputing text is accurate at interpreting. Also with practice allows you do freedraw in most applications that allow painting.

Cons: Would be nicer if it had a larger area, initially issues with software, has different software than that described. Had to download more software and then work out the installation.

Other Thoughts: In the end this device has some awesome features when used with the right software. Apart from downloading the software for its basic operations downloaded some more full on software and I am surprised how far recognition software has come. Using the tablet with ritepen software I could write cursively on the tablet and it converted accurately my words and text.

Bottomline: End of the day, great value for money once you understand all the nuances of the item.

Pros: CHEEP

i bought this for my girlfriend as she loves using photo shop and she has wanted a tablet.

its a great way to tell if you want to spend $200 on a real graphics tablet.

seams to work very well

Cons: the software is NOT easy to install. but some random clicking will get u past all that :)

the buttons are hard to press.

the build quality is questionable.

Other Thoughts: its a good test to see if you want a tablet

not great build..... but at this price its great

Bottomline: if u need a small tablet get this one.

it works well for photo shop

i don't know how well it works on other os's (linux and mac's) but i will be able to test and i will post my results in the forum thing below.

-Comes with everything you need to get started.

Cons: None really. Not that I could find.

Other Thoughts: Not sure if it would work with vista.
Tried it on xp and it's fine.
The box is a bit bulky, could have packed it in a smaller box.

Overall it is very nicely made for $9.00

Bottomline: Great deal for only $9!
