Although drawing performance is no where near WACOM, this little pad is good for making simple graphics in Paint/Photoshop, signing electronic documents, or using it as a backup mouse.

This pad suffers from the lack of writing pressure sensor, the relative small writing area, and the Chinese base installation setup program (it's actually a one-click setup program, so it isn't that bad. When you run the program, you can choose English menu instead).

In addition, the writable screen of both the small - IV and large - VII pad are the same. It's just the body of the large - VII pad that is bigger.

Pros: - The best 'Pro' of the product is its low price. It's usually hard to find products like these for such a low price and with free shipping.
- Its stylish. Though it doesn't look like an Apple product it do look great with silver color and fine edges.
- Can use as a mouse. Yeah, so we can use it in MS Paint and Flash etc.

Cons: - The surface where we write is just like a plastic glass material. The pen always tends to slip due to the lack of friction. So not worth for detail drawings.
-Chineese software CD is shipped with the pack. Installation is simple anyway but when the software opened its really confusing.
- There are few buttons on the product without any names or description. I fiugured that one amoun them is the left button of a mouse.

Bottomline: Product is really cheap and if you're looking for a software just for putting signature.

Ownership verified by DX Great for the price!

Pros: - Great Price
- Works as a mouse, you can draw in paint and other applications
- includes software (not in english)
- includes a Pen
- Nice attractive Packaging
- Good for doing your signature

Cons: - The software is not in English, im still having trouble finding out how to get the recognition software working
- The instructions are not in english, but i have been able to figure out most things

Other Thoughts:

Bottomline: You get what you pay for usually, but this is that little bit better, its not that bad for its price, and if you could understand chinese, im sure it would be better to use

Pros: Didn't cost much so didn't waste too much on item I will rarely, if ever try use again? Attractive enough unit. Expected something more flimsy at such low cost.

Cons: Needs function labels under the 3 buttons on unit - nothing written there at all. Disc is in Chinese & if can select English instead I wouldn't know since I don't read Chinese at all so I can tell? Mini disc, which my system can handle but maybe should say so in case others can only use regular size discs? Box is all in Chinese and no instruction book either. I did manage to load program since like most, click-click, but when I plugged it into USB port on my mousepad, it damaged the pretty blue lights a bit, worse, was not compatible with my Logitech webcam and it messed with it's functioning so I had to remove the write pad and my webcam and then reload the webcam program and redo set up again adjustments for cam again. Peeked around online and found that some say these units are not compatible with some programs and software and now I am fearful to try again. The stylus pen was missing from my box, only had disc and write pad. Don't care for picture in write area. Would prefer that was blank, distracting for me. Should say it does not have English instructions or any instruction book whatsoever. There was a bit of English here and there during loading but not near enough to tell me I cuold select English somehow that I could tell. Was easy to load program but after the effect it had on my cam and multimedia mousepad, I do not trust it and not happy there isn't info or warnings about what it is not good to try use it with.

Other Thoughts: Maybe this is good for somebody who has used similar units before, especially if you do not read or understand any Chinese? Disappointed I was not warned it was not geared for North American market and disk was Chinese version. Not worth risking harm to more expensive equipment. Sure, the lights on mousepad are mostly decorative but scared me what else might get harmed if I continued to try use this write pad? Maybe best for laptop users? I am disappointed. I am an artist and I hoped this would make life easier not cause me more trouble. Really hope somebody posts instructions and compatibility warnings online but DX or manufacturer really should make up page in English and maybe other European languages too or at least a card with a website for us to view for those who do not know Chinese at least? Maybe I will try again sometime but I doubt it unless my new friend from China can help me set up next time? Will probably sell mine in yardsale or bargain paper but I will be sure to mention should know how to read Chinese if wanting to purchase.

Bottomline: Disappointed. Probably very handy but not worth risk for me. Think it should not be recommended to North American market even though supposed to be XP and Vista compatible. Unit is best sold in China or to Chinese person living elsewhere really. DX would likely have let me return it but I can't be bothered and suppose I hold out small hope that I can someday work out issues and get to use it someday?

Pros: It is a perfectly workable replacement for a mouse or touch pad, and in some situations preferable to either one.
The only way to beat the price is to get the $7 model!

Cons: There are no English language instructions. (Maybe someone with some free time will post a note explaining how it functions in English.)

Other Thoughts: The first day that I had it, I thought it was a non-functioning toy. The next time I tried to use, I discovered that it actually worked. And quite well. Since I don't read or speak Chinese or Japanese, I can't use it to its full potential, and I've had to rely on trial and error to discover that the buttons on the tablet can function as mouse keys and to learn how to use the software. While (so far) it is way too slow to be efficient, I can actually use it with my PenOffice software for handwriting recognition. Just keep trying and will work.

Bottomline: I'd buy it again.
