Ownership verified by DX Great batteries - handle with care

Involvement: Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership: 1 week to 1 month

Price: starstarstarstarstar
Ease of Use: starstarstarstarstar
Build Quality: starstarstar
Usefulness: starstarstarstarstar
Overall Rating: starstarstarstarstar

Pros: These are great protected cells
I think the stated capacity is pretty accurate
Hold voltage well under load
Size is pretty close to a regular AA
Nipple tip so no need for magnets
Protection circuit works

Cons: Plastic wrapping is a bit "how ya going" in places with PCB's not exactly parallel

Other Thoughts: They are protected but water, fire and puncturing can still burn your house down
Respect the chemistry used and handle with care and they should not cause you any grief
Keep away from kids - do not use in kids toys and charge them somewhere fire proof

Bottomline: Great - super cheap - safety built in but read up on LI Ion before use

Ownership verified by DX Nice protected batteries

Pros: Works well in my "UltraFire C3 Cree 1xAA 1x14500 Flashlight" (SKU 1993) and my "Akoray Cree Q5-WC 6-Mode Memory 200-Lumen LED Flashlight with Clip (1*AA/1*14500)" (SKU 16607) giving both lights a very bright light.

Cons: Seems a little thicker compared to standard AA cells, and a little longer.
The positivepole is a little short, in some flashlights this coould be a problem

Other Thoughts: Works well with the UltraFire 3.6/3.7V Battery Charger

Bottomline: Nice extension for my flashlights, I love the Li-ion cells. They are hard to get overhere in the Netherlands so DX is th eplace to be

Ownership verified by DX Great for the Ultrafire C3 Stainless Steel Q5

Pros: These protected cells work excellent in the Ultrafire SS Q5 that only runs on the lion batteries.
Runtime on high has been over two hours and the light is still very usable. Not the hot beam at the beggining of the test but still brighter than a fully charged mini maglite.
Great price for 2.
No fit issues, but this light was designed for 14500 cells.

Cons: Too bad they don't work on all AA lights, as the output and runtime is great.
The capacity and output is better than the less than perfect looking exterior, but it does what it is supposed to.

Other Thoughts: Will compare run times with the blue label Trustfire 900mah protected cells.
Have not compared them to AW cells, and given the price difference, don't plan to.

Bottomline: Great batteries for the price if your light will take them.
Will buy more as needed.

Ownership verified by DX The ideal size!!

Ease of Use: starstarstarstarstar
Build Quality: starstarstarstar
Usefulness: starstarstarstar
Overall Rating: starstarstarstar

Pros: Its the most common size of battery you can find everywhere. Just be sure your device accept this voltage. Fit perfectly in most AA batteries flashlights.

Cons: The positive pole sometimes dont make contact. Plastic around the battery breaks easily.

Other Thoughts: Despite the cons, the battery works Properly and last for a good while. It charges with common 3,6 battery charger so I have one charger for 18650, 14500, and 16340.

Bottomline: Undoubtely, 3,6 volts are better than classic 1,5 or 1,2 NiMh. It's a must have for flashlight fanatics.
