Pros: In the complete set: the device, the adapter for the car. Bright back-light.It is easy in use, a real stereo. There is a memory. You can store 10 frequency's. It is possible to use 3 power supplys. Runs off AAA batteries, USB power. It comes with a 12v car adapter so you dont have to use batteries in the car. Full fm range.
Cons: There are small differences in waves which it shows and other radio, the small white noise, if radio the device without suppression of radio noises is possible.
Other Thoughts: For connection to the computer it is possible to order additional adapter SKU26785 for 5pin usb cable and attenuator SKU26548.
Bottomline: Very cool looking. If you want one, buy it!!
Pros: - Good range !!- Car adapter works great.- Easy to set on the right frequency.
Cons: - Can fall asleep if the volume stay low for some time. For example in songs with 20sec silent can be enough to trigger auto-sleep).- Working on battery (even quality ones) can be unstable.
Other Thoughts: Some advices.X Try to find a vacant High frequency if possible. The quality sounds better in that case.X Try many different volumes. If it's too low the transmitter will fall asleep to keep ur batteries up. Too high and the trasmitter is saturated and the sound will be real bad. Find the best setting then keep it all the time.
Bottomline: Very very good item. Does what it is meant for and does it pretty well.
Pros: This fm transmitter is very cheap in comparison to other ones you can buy at big chain stores. For 10 bux it did everything I wanted it to do. I also liked how you could use it with any mp3 player because of the headphone port.
Cons: After about a months use it was almost completely unusable. I don't know what happened but it just had the worst reception after a while so I just threw it out.
Other Thoughts: If you get lucky you might get one thats made a little higher quality because when it was working it worked great.
Bottomline: For 10 bux you might as well try it because its a lot cheaper than many alternatives out there.
Pros: Really a quick and easy way of playing music from your mp3 player in the car. No messy wires are needed. Simple interface just shows the battery level, and the frequency it is transmitting on.
Cons: If it was smaller.. It's about twice as big as my current mp3 player.
Other Thoughts: Really a simple transmitter that does its job. Range is quite good, about 8 metres with a concrete wall in between, and the sound is still good.Pricing is excellent, similar transmitters are selling for 3-4 times the DX pricing at the local shops. As this is a full scale FM transmitter, you could actually do some mischief and transmit at your local radio station's frequency. Imagine the car next to you, suddenly his/her music goes all silent.
Bottomline: If an FM transmitter is what you're after, this is it.
