Pros: Extremely easy to operate for general use. Transmits clearly, strong signal, works for full FM range so you can always find a clear station. Low price, fairly small size, decent build quality overall (and very good quality for the price). Audio cord is a good length for it's purpose and conveniently wraps around the unit when not in use.

Cons: The USB port is pretty worthless (you'd need a male-to-male usb cord, and I don't think I've ever even seen one), but it doesn't get in the way of anything.

Other Thoughts: I gave one of these away to my father-in-law, who is not at all tech-savvy. His portable DVD player speakers were too weak for him to hear. It took about 30 seconds to show him how to turn it on and off and change frequencies. The next time I saw him he was thrilled with how nicely and easily it worked.

Bottomline: The basic functions you'll actually use work wonderfully. The extras (usb, temperature, clock) are a bit awkward to use, so just ignore them.

Pros: 1. i chose to power this device via usb 'a-a' cable via self powered usb hub on pc rather than batteries (picture on product page). transmits thru entire house and across street--250' away with clear sound in stereo. used extension cable to connect to pc earphone jack.
2. extremely easy to use out of box (no instructions included). if you need instructions or manual with this simple device..god help you.
3. transmission range is incredible.
4. how do they sell it so cheap for it's performance?

Cons: 1. why does it describe as black..when it's white..haha..who cares?

Other Thoughts: i just ordered another one just in case longevity may pose a problem. but for 8 bucks with free delivery, who cares? took 8 days to arrive from hong kong to pennsylvania, usa.

Bottomline: these devices are $30 - $80 at local stores (radio shack, best buy). this is a fine product that works exceptionally well. it's made in china, and i suspect we'll all be speaking chinese one day. definately get a few of these!

Pros: The FM transmitter works well and allows for the selection of multiple frequencies. I have used it successfully in my car which only has a radio to listen to my MP3 files. I have also used it in the house to listen to music through my stereo system.

Cons: The build quality can be questionable at times. The power button which needs to be held down can sometimes get stuck in that position but with a bit of work you can get it to align properly.

Other Thoughts: I owned one of these for almost a year when it died. I purchased three more and am very happy with the results. Power from 12V or from 2 AAA batteries.

Bottomline: Well worth the purchase price if you need to listen to any device with a headphone jack through another radio.

Pros: It transmits audio with about a 20-30ft radius. Very clear audio with minor white noise, if the volume on the device is too high. So far the battery life is great on two AAA batteries. I've been using this device for about 6-8 hours on the same set of rechargable batteries. A must buy for those who need to transmit audio. Audio turns off automatically if there is no sound input after about 1-2 minutes (I can see how for some it can be a con).

Cons: Well this is by far the biggest con, you have to take out the batteries to restart the device EVERY time it turns off. It can be a minor pain but I over look it since this device is so cheap and transmits audio exceptionally well. No other complaints here.

Other Thoughts: I mainly use this device to transmit audio from my HDTV to XBOX 360 when watching movies on Netflix or playing Call of Duty 4 or Street Figther 4 online. I connect the FM tuner to my HTC Fuze and share/split the audio jack with my wife to enjoy movies when our baby is sleeping. We are amazed at how good the audio sounds. The explosions and other sound effects sound very crisp and clear with $14 Sony and Skullcandy headphones. I have also transmitted audio from my HTC Fuze to the car stereo system, the bass sounds freaking awesome on action movies.

Bottomline: No regrets here. You don't get subtitles on Netflix streaming so my wife and I couldn't watch a bunch of great movies when our baby slept. Now we can enjoy movies and I can play late nights on XBOX Live without disrupting anyone's sleep. A must purchase if you are remotely in the same situation I was in.
