Great Soldering Remover

                                            Pros: - Remove soldering from electric circuits, PCBs, etc.
- Very useful as well as handy.
- Sucks up the solder like a sponge.
 
                                            Cons: - You have to put a little effort to make it work.
- Contains a rather small amount of material.
 
                                            Other Thoughts: - I use this to get female USB ports out of PCBs. It works unexpectedly well for that task.
- You can easily take out many electric components out of an old equipment.
 
                                            Bottomline: Cheap solder remover! 
Get it if you need some soldering removed. This one is recommended for DIY projects.

                                            Pros: Very useful if you do some soldering. Perfectly removes all solder from pcb or components. At my place, these are extremely expensive, only pro's buys them :) At DX this is a bargain.
 
                                            Cons: there is no cons what so ever, maybe short lenght :)
 
                                            Other Thoughts: Very useful, first i thought that it won't work that easy, as it worked. With this Soldering Remover, you can desolder or resolder everything. Just don't overheat with soldering-iron, better have temperature regulated soldering-iron. Optimum temperature is 190-220 celsius degrees.
 
                                            Bottomline: Buy this if you deal with soldering. I cant't imagine desoldering without this

                                            Pros: This is a value priced item with above average use. It sucks up almost all solder on electronics connections and is small enough to fit into tight spaces.
 
                                            Cons: At times the solder doesn't flow well into the braid. I am not sure if this is caused by poor quality solder or lack of flux in the wire. Also, I sometimes had problems with the plastic spool and the wire unwrapping itself. As with most soldering items, when it gets hot it smells so try not to inhale the fumes.
 
                                            Other Thoughts:  

                                            Bottomline: This is a necessary soldering item for any level of skill. It is cheap and works effectively well enough to make it a great value. I have just begun to learn how to solder so I quickly went through the strand, so plan on purchasing more than just one!

                                            Pros: It's a good wick with many thin copper strands.
The price is very good for something like this. 

                                            Cons: This wick has none or allmost no flux in it, making it hard to get the solder to stick to it and start flowing with the capilary effect. 

                                            Other Thoughts: If you want this wick to work a lot better, just dip it in liquid rosin flux and let it dry before using it, it will work at least twice as good, probably better. 

                                            Bottomline: This is great, get it if you need it, but grab one of sku.4697 and desolve it in about 50-100ml of cleaning ethanol to get liquid flux that you can dip your wick in to get better results.
