Pros: Large writing surface area.

Chinese recognition works ok.

There is a mouse mode.

Cons: The bundled driver CD is only in Simplified Chinese. And the output from the bundled driver is not in Unicode so I just got junk output.

Not pressure sensitive - would have been nice, but I was not expecting it at this price point.

No pronunciation of the output which would have been useful for learning Chinese.

The signature feature does not seem to work. I just get a black box output.

To improve recognition (specially of low stroke count characters like water, fire, moon), I had to turned off recognition of letters, numbers and puctuation marks.

The buttons are very stiff.

Other Thoughts: In order to get it working on my English XP Home PC, I had to download new drivers at manufacturer's website

Setup2.exe in the archive installed with English installer dialog boxes.

You also have to set the output to Unicode.

They actually had PenPower's software on their website's download area last week.

Someone must have ratted them out to PenPower and that software has been taken down. BTW I was not able to get PenPower's software to recognize the pad.

Bottomline: Ok for the price. The proper software should have been included.
