Pros: As already stated, they are very bright, they have a flash & normal mode. So far I've experienced no problems with them.(Keep in mind, I haven't had them for long enough to know for sure if they are durable.)
Cons: They look a little cheap, but what can you expect from a cheap product.
Other Thoughts: Of course they might lose the brightness with time (don't they always, a little), but so far so good.
Bottomline: Working, normal Christmas lights. They are very very bright, which is nice. I couldn't get them any cheaper locally (lights tend to a bit more costly around here). Overall, I'm glad I bought them.
Pros: - Great little lights which are reasonably cheap to buy, and much cheaper than you would get them, if they sold them in England. - They are really bright considering how small they are. - Energy efficient and will give you a fair few hours of light. - Could read by the light, if they were close by and bunched up. - Runs on common AA batteries which is really good! - They have 3 modes: ON / OFF / FLASHING. - The wires look quite cool as they are translucent. - There is shrink wrapping around the LEDs. - Safer than normal mains lights.
Cons: None
Other Thoughts: I bought them for a friend, and they were really pleased with them!
Bottomline: Worthwhile getting these.
Pros: Very bright from all angles, with great battery life considering the brightness and number of lights. Strung over a picnic table at a campsite, this is more than decoration - it's a true light source, providing a nice even light around the area. Think of it as a lantern that's much easier on the eyes, and more fun.
Cons: Battery compartment is not impressive; a thin metal piece from inside flew out a couple of times while swapping batteries. It took some care to insert batteries and close it while keeping everything together.
Other Thoughts: Were noticeably dimmer after two or three long nights of use, but this was not disappointing given the light output and use of only 3 AA's.
Bottomline: On a camping trip and at Burning Man, I used this in a variety of ways, and was impressed with the brightness, as well as the toughness of the wiring and bulbs; it stood up to being strung through trees, pack staps, etc. I even stepped on it by accident once or twice, with no ill effect. It just could use a tougher battery pack.
Pros: They are little christmas LED Lights. They have a switch which flashes, solid and off. The switch seems extremly flimsy! Use care when switching on and off.The battery's seemed to last all camping trip. 5-nights worth! Energy efficent!
Cons: Uh ... none really? Oh wait, the flashing mode kinda messes with your head if you stare at it too much :-)
Other Thoughts: I bought them for a Memorial Day Camping Trip. Which I was out in my RV dry docking for 5 days! This means no electrical hook up. I wanted to have some kewl little lights to hang from the awning outside the RV. These fit the bill perfectly. I just hung them with little hooks on the awning, taped the battery pack to the post and presto.
Bottomline: Great for places with no power :-)
