Pros: The colours are outstanding, 3 colours in each "bulb" that change, and mix all the time, very coloutful indeed
 
Cons: battery box is a little "cheap", but hey for the price, what do you expect, but the fact that mine worked fine, and still works fine, and hasnt fallen apart says it works fine. The switch on the box shows 3 switch levels, but it only has on and off in reality, obviously the box was used and designed for something else, but it works
 
Other Thoughts: Portable Christmas lights!!!, night out on Christmas eve wearing these lights!!, wow
 
Bottomline: Brilliant buy, would recommend anyone who likes lights and darn good ones at that

Pros: Cool little light set, each LED is multi-color, flashes through various shades.  They have some sort of circuitry in them which starts out with them all in sync and very quickly they all get out of sync.
Their best use to my mind is to dump the crappy battery holder and attach them to a USB cable.  Then you have festive lights for your desk!
There's a resistor in the battery box, extract that intact (it's hot-glued in place, so warm the glue) and wire the resistor to the black (gnd) wire, the other one to the red.
 
Cons: Battery box is junk.  I had to bend connectors etc. to get mine to work properly.  I can't imagine it would stand too many changes of batteries.
The flashing pattern is a bit manic - I'd like it to be slowed down.
 
Other Thoughts: I bought mine in 2007.  Details may have changed
 
Bottomline: Nice lights - glad I have them, especially now they're USB powered.

Pros: - Various flashing patterns it cycles through.
- Red/ green/ blue (3 die) LED's which will output red, green and blue and a mixture of the colours.
- Heat shrink around where the LED is soldered to the wire.
- Runs of 3xAA batteries.
- Compartment door seems pretty strong, unlike what other reviews said.
- On/off switch.
- Colours don't cycle through to eachother at the same time on all LEDs (could be a con for some).
- Good value!
 
Cons: - The on/off switch has 'On/ Flash/ Off' written next to it, when in fact there are only two settings- random flash, off. It wasn't much of a con for me though.
 
Other Thoughts: -Useful lights for various applications.
-Safer to use then normal christmas lights- ideal for leaving unattended.
 
Bottomline: If you need some christmas lights/flashing LED lights then these are worth getting if you want them battery powered.

Pros: these are great for us in the uk because my kids love christmas lights all around the house at crimbo and because we are in resetion and price of electric is very high i will be ordering more of these for sure
 
Cons: they take batteries but if you use rechargable ones your sorted,they just take 3 pencil batteries,there is nothing conning about this product
 
Other Thoughts:  
Bottomline: excellent quality and yes if you are using them in the uk i would reccommend just to put some black electrical tape round the box just to seal if from our great british weather
