Pros: I love this thing. Although it is one of the more pricey hubs on Deal Extreme, it still is 30 dollars cheaper than any 7-port hub in all the stores around where I live. Works great right out of the package and comes with a surprisingly heavy duty usb cable. Although it is very light, it feels durable. It is a nice and inexpensive seven port hub. I finally have spare USB ports to plug in multiple flash drives.
Cons: -very light. all the cables i have plugged into it moves the usb hub if i move the cables ever so slightly. It's not the cheapest out there.
Other Thoughts: Product is smaller than i expected from the pictures.
Bottomline: A very solid 7 port usb hub. Good design, solid built. External power A/C is a must for power hungry usb device.

Pros: This is an OK hub.
Cons: There are some big design problems with this hub. The power input is tied straight to the upstraeam port, so it will feed power to the host and could damage your computer's USB port. There is no over-current protection. There is a serious design problem in the PCB that shorts 5V to several pins on the hub chips. This makes them run very hot, wastes lots of power, and could damage them. After fixing this mistake power consumption dropped from 500mA to 5mA!
There were also soldering quality problems. There QA on this one is pretty bad.
Other Thoughts: The chips are using a single Transaction Translator, which means that all low- and full-speed devices will share a single full-speed virtual port, so you can't connect several high-bandwidth full-speed devices to this (like cheap USB sound cards) and expect it to work. This is typical for cheap hubs though, so it isn't really a problem. Just keep it in mind.
Bottomline: This is an OK hub but the design issues are quite serious. I don't recommend it unless you're prepared to fix it with a soldering iron.

Pros: Most USB-hubs only have 4-ports, this has 7 and is even cheaper as most hubs you can buy in local stores.
A poewer adapter is provided but you don't HAVE to attach it, only if some of your USb appliances seem to get not enough power.
Front and rear ports, so some can be used for USB-sticks, and some for permanent things like hard drives and mice and keyboards.
Cons: Can't seem to find any cons, it's even solidly built and has a smaal design for so much ports.
Other Thoughts: It's a HUB, what can i say;-p
Bottomline: Buy it you won't regret it. Everything has USB nowadays, and everyone has a laptop, but these don't have many ports, so this is THE solution for a very fair price...
Great product!!!

Pros: Its a tinny 7-usb powered hub, so it means no lack of usb never more! sometimes is better to spend a little more euros/dollars to solve problems in the future.
With the AC adpter I can plug anything, like a USB-TV tunner, imposible to power without this extra energy supply.
Cons: In my opinion, an ON/OFF button will make this product a must have. His form is a little problem too, because sometimes is not very steadey, and fall on the floor, because usb ports are not very clever designed, but is a minor problem.
Other Thoughts: If the AC adapter is pluged, it works well if your laptop is turned off. It's very usefull to charge your ipod at night, for example. On the other hand, it consumes electricity.
Bottomline: I totally recommend it, works as I expect. Is an intelligent buy.
