Pros: 1. long cord
2. runs on usb
3. has independent switch (on/off)
4. soft blades - won't hurt to stick your fingers into it (child safe)
5. flexible neck so it's easy to adjust
6. has it's own base/stand
7. pushes heaps of wind

Cons: 1. may be top heavy and can topple over depending on the way you position the arm
2. needs more speed settings
3. is too loud for night use
4. base is not heavy enough

Other Thoughts: a usb hub would be nice as well :)
colours is not so great but that's not much of a problem
blows enough wind to blow away loose sheets of paper so it can be annoying at times as well

Bottomline: i bought for sweaty hands and it does the job! not great for at night usage because it's too loud

Ownership verified by DX Variable quality. Energy efficient.

Pros: Reasonable price. Moves a decent amount of air with its foam blades. Only consumes 2-3 watts when running. Flexible neck allows quite a lot of flexibility in positioning the head.

Cons: Fan base is very light and results in the unit being top-heavy. As a result, the flexibility of the head is limited by whether the fan will stay balanced or not. I have 6 of these units and there is a pretty big range in quality. Some units are really loud - most likely due to an unbalanced motor, while other fan units are relatively quiet. I recently had 2 of my fans die altogether, but fortunately DE's awesome customer service is taking care of the problem. Uses USB interface for power - I wish AC power were an option.

Other Thoughts:

Bottomline: I really like these fans given the amount of air they produce for the little amount of power they consume. Even when I run 4 of these fans together they collectively only consume 10 watts, which is far less than other fans I have that don't even move as much air. The noise can be a problem depending on the quality of the individual fan, but it's a problem I can deal with.

Ownership verified by DX Lots of fresh and cool air with medium noise

Pros: The fan is strong and produces cool air up to one meter far away from the fan.
The fan "neck" is easily movable and adjustable, so you always get just the direction you want.
The fan has got long cord (about a meter) so you can place it almost anywhere around your working place.
The design is nice.

Cons: The fan base is too light so you can't position the upper part of fan quite freely - you have to consider the weight of the engine and make it not to fall over. So simply put - the con is its stability.
It bacame louder after a week of use. It was quite silent in the beginning - so maybe some other pieces may stay silent.

Other Thoughts: Getting a heavier base and two levels of power may do big job.

Bottomline: It is worth the money, if you don't mind some more noise in your office.

Ownership verified by DX Excellent!

Pros: It really works!
- noiseless;
- the switch on/off is very usefull;
- long cord;
- flexible neck helps a lot;
- really refreshes you.........

Cons: - Ok, maybe its not 100% noiseless (its a cooling fan), but it doesn´t disturbs and harms you like an air conditioning does............
- Definitely one of my best buys at dealextreme until now.

Other Thoughts: - it could be a little cheaper.
- everyone in my work wants to buy one LOL
- i´ve bought other cooling fan here but is not really good as this one

Bottomline: Very nice!!!!!!!!!!!
