Pros: - Cheap- Touch screen- Cheats: 2 times noticed that it cheats - moves a rook over many figures and in illegal direction
Cons: - Backlight should be brighter- Queen, bishop, rook - they should be more different, they are easy to get confused- "thinks" a long time when loses (endgame)- Batteries are not easy to remove (a screwdriver needed)- starts with the same moves every time
Other Thoughts: I would add a button to force-move.Could be AC-powered along with batteries.Bottom touch-buttons are too smallCould be cool to save a game on switching off.Switching off when you are off for sometime.
Bottomline: Cheap chess-game but needs to be worked :)
Pros: Cheap. The touch-screen system make it easy to everybody play, even seniors. Seens to know all rules, including draw after 50 moves without captures nor pawn moves.
Cons: Take some time to get used to the pieces. It take too long time thinking in higest level, and even so it play in +-1200 ELO force.Always use the same openings. It play too defensively, rarely castle, and almost never checkmate you - it prefer to promote all pawns in endgame, and then play repetitive moves.
Other Thoughts: If you cell phone with java, download a chess software and play with it.
Bottomline: If you dont have any human (nor cell phone) adversary, and you´re very novice to this game, is a good buy.
