Pros: -Does what it should.-Very cheap.
Cons: -I've had a power cable get stuck in this before, because the pins on the molex connector on the adapter were a little crooked. It took 10 minutes of prying to get it off.
Other Thoughts: -If you need to quickly or routinely grab everything off a large laptop hard drive, this is nice because it'll be a lot faster than USB.
Bottomline: I didn't even really need one of these, I just bought it for emergencies, and have only used it once just to make sure it worked. At this price, you can afford to get one and just have it sit around unused, it's worth it to have it available in the off chance that you'll need it.

Cons: If there are any criticisms I would say build quality, it may be easy to damage your pins on the back of your HDD
Other Thoughts: I bought this because I needed to format my external USB 2.5". Formatting through the USB took hours (10+ hours), and I wasn't patient enough to wait the whole time so I kept cancelling it.I hooked the HDD to this unit and it only took 1 hour as opposed to the ridiculous 20+ hours on USB. Also file transfers improved dramatically, so I was able to transfer all the files I wanted to before I could put it back into the enclosure
Bottomline: If you really need this I would say get it. It's not for everyone, I don't recommend to use a 2.5" HDD on a desktop full time. It's a great tool if you need to fix or prepare a 2.5" HDD.I used this so I can throw the enclosure on on my HDD.If your Laptop dies, you can use this to salvage the data onto your desktop.
Pros: I have 1 2.5 HDD with inportant information inside. I buy this converter to connect to my desktop.Very hard to fing such things in Azerbaijan. Thanks DX. And price and shipping is perfect.
Cons: nothing, everything perfect.I connect it, it works good.No problem with Vista x64.Asus MotherboardAMDbut it doesn't have a jumper for master-slave.A little hard to remove power cable after using.

Bottomline: It works great.Very cheap and useful product
Pros: Easy to use.Has no active components, so it can't really become defective (unless you actually break it or when a connector should come loose).Very cheap.
Cons: Although the build quality looks quit good, I have my doubts about the quality of the solderings. The joins don't look very proffesional and I'm afraid one of the connectors might come loose or give a bad connection.
Other Thoughts: I got "All fields aded together, your review does not contain more than 500 characters."
Bottomline: Even with a not very proffesional look, it is a nice, very usefull gadget.
