Pros: it is like the original nintendo case and buttons, mine was break cause fall and now it is like new

Cons: it is a little bit complicated to change every single piece but if you don't have any experience you must to carrie it to a specialized laboratory .

Other Thoughts: it is complete of every single part, in Italy it cost a lot more.

Bottomline: don't try to replace the case of your nintendo DS without experience and the knowledge of how to do so. You can break your DS if do you work without the necessary patience.

Pros: Looks just like the original case.
Came with all necessary parts (Case, buttons, springs for the L/R, ect).
Everything fit as it should and was not that difficult to put together.
It makes my DS look and feel like new again.

Cons: The buttons that came with it were not quite as nice as the original DS buttons. The cross for example was slightly smaller, and flat as opposed to the original one which is slightly lower in the center. These are minor differences, but it was enough that I opened the case back up to put my original buttons in.
Does not come with the necessary screwdriver, but those are less than $1 so no big deal.

Other Thoughts: I used the original buttons. I like the way they feel better.
The stylus that came with it matched the satin finish of the top of the case. The original black DS came with a glossy stylus that matched the glossy part of the DS. This is really a user preference, but I'm using my original glossy stylus. It's nice to have an extra though.

Bottomline: Buy it if you damaged your original case and need a replacement.
This is not a quick process and you do risk damaging your DS if you try to rush through it.
Only replace your case if it is broken.
Set aside at least two hours where you can work without getting disturbed so you can concentrate on what you are doing. It may not take you this long, but if you're like me you might have to open it back up a time or two.

Pros: the built quality is the same as the Nintendo ds lite. the housing is perfect for replacement, brings everything you need to replace the housing

Cons: does not bring the screwdriver to open your housing, its extra but really cheap,
you must be extremely patient to open your housing. not for rookies, very delicate, time consuming

Other Thoughts: its time consuming but worth it and better than sending it to Nintendo and charging you alot

Bottomline: if planning to buy this, remember to buy the screwdriver to open the housing to nintendo ds lite, go to a step by step guide to on the internet to open your ds lite, be patient cause it is really time consuming as in a couple hours but well worth it

Pros: -cheaper then sending to Nintendo in case of cracked housing
-looks like official housing
-very sturdy
-when used together with sku.15853 you can fix all hinge-related problems.
-never fixed a DS Lite before, with this and a 2 part, 15 minute Youtube video I fixed it flawlessly.
-fits perfectly, I now have a hybrid official / replacement housing on my DS and I don't see the difference between the parts.

Cons: -contains no user manual
-is a bit expensive compared to PSP housing, and it's kinda expensive if you only need a few parts.

Other Thoughts: Buy this when you have any housing problems with your DS. If you have hinge-related problems, also buy sku.15853.

Bottomline: Good product for an okay price if you want to fix your DS yourself. 20% of the cost it takes to let Nintendo fix the problem for you.
