Pros: easy to use;comes with cable & cd driver;small in size;great connection;
Cons: packaging/shipping;
Other Thoughts: The wireless adapter that I got was the 54Mbps version as stated on the website. It is very easy to use. You just need to install the driver & plug it in & you are set. The pickup connection range is very good since I can even pick up my neighbor's wireless at a rate of 18mbps. The only bad thing I have to say is that the it could have come in a better packaging. Rather then shipping it in a box, it came in a padded envelope.
Bottomline: After having good experience with it, I'm thinking of buying one for my son's room.
Pros: The one I got is V4, just like the description says. It works great with every PC I tried.
Cons: You have to get the driver on linksys website:http://www.linksys.com/servlet/Satellite?c=L_CASupport_C2&childpagename=US%2FLayout&pagename=Linksys%2FCommon%2FVisitorWrapper&cid=1166859929435&displaypage=download
Other Thoughts: Great little USB wireless adapter. Great for PCs and laptops.
Bottomline: Another great deal from DX! Get it!
Pros: Cheap, small. Works fine once you find a driver. It is a Linksys WUSB11 version 2.8 and you can get the driver from the Linksys site. Driver does WPA which is important for me.
Cons: No driver supplied. Smelled absolutely horrible when removed from the packaging. Still smelled terrible two days later. Female USB socket on device does not hold the cable very securely.
Other Thoughts: Let me get an old laptop with wrecked PCMCIA slots online cheaply.
Bottomline: Apart from the smell and lack of a provided driver good value. It is 802.11b (11megabit) only.
