Ownership verified by DX Good driver, maybe too many modes.

Pros: Really compact driver, good also if you want to get some cheap 7135 ics.

Cons: Output current is not as rated. Maximum current is about 650mA, soldering looks cheap. No information about the modes, looking at other drivers I've discovered how to use this (SKU 7612). No info is posted on the product page. A good thing would be to add some mode information to this driver's modes.

Other Thoughts: cheap driver, good source for 7135 ics.

Bottomline: Cheap driver, low quality solderings may take it to malfunction. Modes are not *that* easy to understand, since no information is given. If you need a small and cheap driver, better go for 3-modes or 2-modes ones.

Pros: * Inexpensive price
* Lots and lots of modes
* Has a group with no stupid strobe modes in it :D

Cons: * It doesn't solder itself? :)
* Wider voltage range would be nice
* Takes a bit to learn how the mode switching works

Other Thoughts: I replaced the driver out of SKU 13097 with this, and it fit after I sanded down the rough edges (didn't have to sand down into the ground trace ring, just a small bit sanded down). I removed the wires from the board and soldered the wires from the emitter to the board, so I wouldn't have to worry about the reflector shorting on the emitter's star solder points. It went in without a hitch.

Bottomline: If you want to turn a one mode light into a 20 mode powerhouse, this is the emitter to get (well, unless you're running off anything besides one lithium cell... hehe)

Pros: The lead wires already pre-soldered.
Affordable.
20 modes.
Police strobe (my favourite)

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: get it.

Bottomline: everyone should have at least 2.

Ownership verified by DX more modes yikes!

Pros: more mode the better for some people out there(like me sometimes)

Cons: no simple lo>mid>high only mode group.

Bottomline: i prefer 20 mode with 100% to 10% with increment mode and with no strobe or sos.
