Pros: Just plug in and play (provided you don't need the vibration/rumble). I use this with the ePSXe Playstation 1 emulator and it works a treat. Please see below for how to get the rumble working.

Cons: The driver CD did not work for mine so I was in the dark about how to get the rumble working. Please see below for the result.

Other Thoughts: This item is a "Dilong pu203". It took me ages to find that out. If you want to get the rumble/vibration working, you'll need to install the driver. Just do a search for the term I've given you above.

Bottomline: It's brilliant for the price. It works well and if it lasts a couple of years then that's fine.

Pros: Very happy with item. Works very nicely.
Just plug controller into this and then plug into USB port. With WinXP you dont need to install driver as it recognise and install automatic for you!!!
Build quality is solid and have LED light to show when placed into USB port.
NO NOTICABLE LAG! Response is very sharp so can use this with fighting games
Extension cord is good length
analog sticks work nice

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Only thing is when you plug controller, it does not label plugs so you wont know which is player 1 and 2 until you play the game for first time you use this. of course, once you play game, you can just label it the plugs with sticker.
Have test this with pc games and tried quickly with emulator + backup games, everything have worked 100%

Bottomline: Get this if you want to use you PS2 controller on PC. Install is very easy and works no problems. Have not had any issues.

Pros: Can use 2 controllers with 1 connection.
Can use old PSX or PS2 controllers (don't expect the buttons to be pressure-sensitive, though).
Also, no installation necessary on Win2k.
All buttons work (including the button on the stick; I see 12 buttons, 4 axes, and a POV hat for digital direction pad).

Cons: The controllers are always "there" once I plug the adapter in, even though there's no controller plugged into the adapter. Also, the "first controller" is on the right hand side when facing up (the side without screw holes) and the USB cable away from me. Kind of counter-intuitive if you consider that most consoles (especially the PS) has the first controller on the left side.

Other Thoughts: Use your leftover PS controllers on the PC. I find that the PC controllers I have are pretty bad in quality. They break after a while (or is hard to re-calibrate). The PS controllers are much better at that (although there seems to be a bigger dead-zone on those controllers, and the sticks are a bit more stiff).

Bottomline: If you own a PS and play PC games that can use joysticks, this is a great buy. Perfect for PS emulators on PC (although I haven't tried it).
Also, DX has some PS2 controllers at pretty good prices (have to watch out that they might not work perfectly, but good enough for use with this adapter; I had a pressure-sensitivity issue, but that doesn`t apply for this adapter).

Pros: you can use it with best quality original sony playstation 2 controllers easily! its really easy to install. first install the driver in cd, and then plug in device, then controller. it also puts a shortcut on desktop to controller properties.

Cons: it dont support "all button"s analog function. original ps2 controllers have analog buttons exclude start, select, left analog stick button and right analog stick button.

Other Thoughts: it works with vista 64! just install the driver and it works ;)

Bottomline: if you want to buy a best quality controller for your pc, buy an original ps2 controller and buy this item :)
