Pros: works good inside buildings , small style helps conceal device for covert work.
pretty good overall , does the trick , especially inside stores.

Cons: antennas are fragile , and battery doesn't hold a charge for more then a week , if you dont use it for 1 week , it will be dead as a door nail , so really poor battery. also gets super hot when in long term use.

Other Thoughts: this is so fun to take to a cafe and watch people go nuts , turn it on , and enjoy a cell phone free breakfest. my friends love this , we got hunting in stores!

Bottomline: good device to start with.

Pros: Worked straight out of the box. No issue at all. Plug and play! GSM signal blocked within seconds of power up. Range is impressive for its size.

Cons: Aerials look fragile and need to be minded. Unit does get warm!!

Other Thoughts: Shipping was quick. Labelled as electronic gadget. No instructions or manual in the box. I presume this was in case the unit was stopped by customs! Manual not needed in any case as it is basically "plug n' play".

Bottomline: If you are looking for a quick and easy way to block gsm for a good price, then this gadget is what you need. Buy one!

Pros: Unlike the cheapo unit, this model will actually do the job straight out of the box, no tuning required. It just plain works. These devices have a simple purpose, to block cell phones. This one does just that, no matter what kind of phone or network.
The range is also pretty substantial. Realistically it effectively boots calls in a 25 FOOT radius, in line of sight, with no walls.. Basically if you're in a dept store, you can effectively kill calls as far as you can see in every direction. The range is significantly larger if you're looking to prevent calls. In other words, by leaving the unit on nobody will be able to receive or initiate a phone call, but at the extended range you may not be able to actually interrupt an already connected call (apparently, it takes phones more energy to establish connections than to maintain them).

Cons: It gets warm after it's been on for a while. I personally don't really care about this because I don't ever LEAVE the unit on.. I simply switch it on for a few seconds at a time, just long enough to knock the call off.
It's not as compact as the little black cheapo unit. But it still fits in a coat pocket.

Other Thoughts:

Bottomline: This unit is pretty fantastic. It's such a thrill to wield the power of being able to hang up people's cell phone calls for them when they forget about common courtesy in public.
I think we've all been there (and if you haven't you're probably the offender) where you're next to or behind someone who isn't paying very much attention to their surroundings because they're on the phone. Or someone carrying on a loud or boisterous conversation on a bus or intimate environment. It's an epidemic! I find it hard to believe that you're so important/busy that you can't peel your phone off of your head for 8 minutes while you walk into a convenience store!! Well it's time to even the score.. Everyone should have one of these..

Cons: the antennae broke and there are no specs for replacement. wrote for and rma and will see what they do.
